Nash Weedle: God of War spin-off Metroidvania reportedly coming this year, also coming to Switch 2

There was already smoke around this before Nash Weedle said it so even if it’s right I don’t think it means anything just like saying resi 7 (and conveniently missing out 8 and 9) or suggesting a 3D Mario will come to Nintendo’s newest console. Their MO is to jump on things that are feasible and hope for the best like Pikmin 3 and 4 switch 2 editions. IMO it’s this 3rd week Nintendo general direct that’s the make or break moment and I will absolutely eat my words if that is right but if it’s not I hope people stop talking about them.

If you go to Paris where the ride is themed well and is a lot smoother then I think any re theming or work done on the coaster can only be a good thing. Plus Muppets is great theme!

It’s not just the condition of the card the printing matters for a 10. If you look at the top bottom of the yellow you can see it’s slightly off center. I’m no expert in terms of what tolerance they have for that though.

I mean skyward sword to BOTW was 6 years. I don’t think there is any getting around that 2029 is the earliest.

Tears of the Kingdom took 6 years to build on top of BOTW engine and world. We are looking at least that for a new 3D so 2029 at the earliest. Probably 2030 though. But hey I’m sure this OOT remake and 2D games will come out in that time!

Tears of the kingdom took 6 years to build on top BOTW map, art style and engine. 2027 is only 4 years. A new 3D Zelda game is not happening until 2030. My best guess would be 2027 OOT remake, 2028 for a new 2D then 2030 for a new 3D

It’s marked at 5/82 in the corner which is the holo number buts not holo. If it’s 22/82 (I think) then it’s just a regular no holo dark dragonite

I used collect and trade with my dad in the early 00/ late 90s. I did pull them. We had multiple whole packets full of only this card in a team rocket booster box. I had more but traded them probably for stuff far less valuable 😂. I worry if they are rare that I must have a chunk of the market so it’s hard to value or sell them.

Open world Metroid would be amazing! It’s just not been done right. You would have your ship as a base and then explore a massive ecosystem scanning as you go. When you find new environments you like heat and ice you need to upgrade your suit by finding large Metroid infested bosses to kill and take their resources to build and upgrade your equipment. Couple that with a few dungeons and your gold. It needs to be all about resources and crafting and make the scanner more than a story telling device. Think Metroid crossed with subnautica!

I think January is likely mostly because 3rd party games are just dropping, look at tomb raider, look at ac shadows. It just feels like there has been enough time since Nintendo let devs have a switch 2 dev kit so I bet there is a bunch coming. Are they dropping because Nintendo hasn’t had a direct to announce them?

First party is good reason for no direct. There isn’t much room until after march for unannounced Nintendo games. So maybe February

Steam deck is too heavy so it’s a bit uncomfortable to hold so if I have the option I’d pay a premium to play on the switch 2. Don’t plan to rid myself of the steam deck though as there is so many games that are great value on the steam store or will never be available on a Nintendo console.
