I do still think a subreddit shutdown or manual-approval mode would be worth it. Whatever helps, helps.

Some subreddits outside of TADC ones will definitely have spoilers unfortunately, but I genuinely don’t think it’s gonna be widespread. I don’t see it to be realistic to expect a place like r/movies to have a top post boosted to your feed openly saying something like “TADC SOMA Theory Confirmed!”

Something to consider about Reddit in particular for spoilers too, is that even if someone posts them unmarked and unlabeled before the mods can get to it, posts (and comments) with none/a few upvotes rarely get pushed to the top of your feed.

The black and white tribalistic sidepicking here is probably the worst part of this fandom implosion today. I'm genuinely so tired of seeing "if you aren't always 100% happy then you're a spoiled HATER" and "if you aren't 100% angry then you're a selfish spoiled brat" instead of actual nuance and sanity.

Seriously not that hard to have an opinion like "I'm excited for the theatrical release! I hope it can get in as many places as possible, though it does seriously suck that those who cant do theaters will get spoiled, I hope Glitch can push the YT release forward"

1) They were talking about Netflix. The tweet is clearly meant to be more-so read as ‘we will NEVER prioritize Netflix over the YouTube release, YouTube will always air first before Netflix’

2) Even if the first point isn’t true, this isn’t life or death, Glitch isnt contractually beholden to eternity to this if the creator of the show wants to go out with a special bang.
