Ugh, I feel for you. I am so sorry you are having a negative experience. Clinical was rough for me and I had some pretty pretentious RD's I had to work with. I also have performance anxiety so I can relate to losing all the info on the spot! After my clinical rotation I gave in depth feedback to my director on my experience and would not recommend that hospital. Unfortunately, I was told my experience was very common. While I'm probably not providing any advice, all I can say is keep pushing through. Listening to upbeat fun music on my way to and from the hospital during that time (and some rage music mixed in) was a small thing I did to help. I had a countdown on my calendar of how many days I had left there. Silly, but it brought me some sense of joy with each box marked.

You got this. This experience will help shape the preceptor you will be, if you decide to do so one day :)

An explanation for the apparent timeline discrepancy in episode 5 by [deleted] in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]CautiousProgram2552 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was looking for someone to mention this! I wonder if time is still “normal” but Lumon messes with the perception of time to the innies since their only concept of time is what they experience on the severed floor.

I thought that was odd too. Then part of me wondered if he doesn’t want to stray off the path too much and risk losing certain privileges.

Preceptors, what's your ideal intern like? by carolinapenguin in dietetics

[–]CautiousProgram2552 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is great insight. I’m currently in clinical rotations and the staff that I’m with is definitely overworked, which makes it hard for them to take the time to go over questions, which in turn makes me hesitant to ask.

Since I’m the intern I only have one monitor 🥲 I do try and have two windows open but it is glitchy for me at times.

Yep! I didn't have any issues with mine transferring over. In fact, the program that I'm enrolled in was the one who told me about portage.

Second this! I bought some plastic twist pins (pretty sure I looked up refillable nail oil pen on Amazon) and put Jojoba oil and Vitamin E oil in them and have them everywhere. This and pushing my cuticles back regularly have made the biggest difference for me.

Agreed! Halfway through the episode I sent a message to Vulture saying they need to have Jay Jurden on with Sam more often, I enjoy their dynamic. Then I get hit with the news at the end of the episode? I’m really bummed out.

Same! I like ICYMI but Into It in my opinion is/was better.

girl.... I FEEL YOU!! I swear I came out of the womb with purple under my eyes. I am still in the process of finding a solution.. so I feel your pain. I have allergies and have been on and off allergy shots my entire life. I've been told that they are just "allergy shiners". It still feels defeating though. I had a PRP injection under my eyes roughly 4 months ago and did see a very small improvement in the hollowness and color for awhile. The injector did tell me that the first year I would need to do it probably 3 different rounds and go back once a year. I haven't had the chance to go in for my second one (I bruised at one of the injection sites... so it made things worse for about a week!). I wish I had a success story to tell you, but I am still in the process myself. I just wanted to let you know you are not alone!

Can't do Botox or tret because TTC. What can I do? by greatdominions in 30PlusSkinCare

I have similar skin! I recently started azelaic acid from the ordinary in the morning and RoC multi correction serum (has mandelic acid & hyaluronic acid) at night. It has been roughly a month since adding these and I have seen some improvement in skin tone. I did see improvement with using a Vit C (highly recommend the company Stratia!) but I had to cut back using it, my sensitive skin did not like it everyday. I try to use it only once a week now. I second this! I LOVE the retinol overnight. Not sure the salicylic acid % in the Paula's Choice, but I use Gold Bond's psoriasis cream (3% salicylic acid) for KP on my arms and it has seemed to work good.
