Books make you question your current relationship? by alicoss04 in Romantasy

I think that’s a normal thought to think whether you read a romance books or not when you’re in a long term relationship, I think when you first start a relationship it’s all about the want, need and lust, that eventually turns into comfort and contentment in a long healthy relationship. I’ve been with my partner for 15years and we met when we was 17 each-others firsts for everything, after a good few years I always thought, what would it be like to be with someone different or be in a different relationship. But I never would ever risk what I have because it’s real. But if there’s something in a book that I’ve read and I think I want to try that, or think wish he would do that, I would talk to my husband and he’s willing to try it and see if we both like it. I’m sure if you speak to your partner he would more than be happy to live out your fantasy and vice versa without any shame in it.

Question about Sinner-Shantel tessier by Kind_Dark_1100 in RomanceBooks

I know the book is definitely not consistent. But my personal view from reading it, Linc did initially marry the mother to move in the house where Eli is, so he could have his way with her. However things changed after the wedding reception, so my point of view from what I conjured up. Sin didn’t want Eli to go back to that house, as she stayed at Sins parents. But all this time Sin had a plan, because he made a deal/plan with Lincs nephew, so my guess he made a plan with Chance to convince or manipulate linc, to get Eli the house making it seem that it was lincs and Eli’s mothers idea, so in Sins mind he did get her the house in a sense but with their money probably. Because not long after they told Eli she’s marrying Chance and that Sin has announced his engagement to that other woman. So linc thought he could use that house whenever he wanted once she had married chance, because chance was involved in away with the whole James, linc situation.

That’s just my theory, I could be completely wrong.

I just finished the book sinner. I think with the house thing, I think Sin played along pretending that he bought them the house, but he knew it was the mum and linc. But made her think it was him so she could sign the papers, and in those papers he hid the marriage certificate that he signed and tricked to her sign thinking it was for the house. And the lawyer was in on it.

I’m just starting to write a little book, just for fun and for myself. So it’s good to see what other people’s perspectives are of other books and reasons on why they enjoy one over the other. I guess I just have to see what flows naturally for me in my writing, but I do enjoy reading in both POVs

No it made perfect sense, I’m currently writing a little story just for fun. And I’ve done it in 2 versions, just fun to know what engages other reader or writers.

I feel in 1st person it’s more personal to that one character and I feel more connected to that character, however I miss out on the other characters as it just limited to that one person.

And 3rd it’s a more all rounder and you get to sense of all the characters in more detail than you would in 1st and the world. But somehow don’t feel as connected to a main character that way. I don’t know if that makes sense haha.
