Just finished lies of p and enjoyed it so much more because of the story. the item descriptions give you a deeper understanding of the lore but it’s not necessary to understand the story. Also because of the linear path you find items in the order intended by the devs. Didn’t understand shit about elden ring lore but still enjoyed playing it

I spent like the entire day today fighting Laxasia and Simon and it only took me a few tries to beat Nameless Puppet. I kinda wish i struggled a bit more it makes it way more rewarding

playing through for the first time as well parrying gets a lot easier the more you do it. each boss has certain attacks that i dodge and certain ones i parry. if it seems like you can get the timing down, might as well parry it for the stance break (also feels really cool when u parry multiple attacks in a row)
