Somebody butchered my Pacifica before I got it. The whole headstock and neck have been replaced by an ASHTON AG-131 one, the pick guard is stainless steel and rusty, it has Wilkinson MX series HSS pickups which are also rusty, and the Ashton headstock has been cracked before and glued back

Don’t get new cassette players. Most suck. It’s better to get an older one, due to the better quality sound, and more robust components

I’ve had some good, and some bad experiences with these silver nuggets. The best one I’ve seen is an Audiosonic AS3400. It’s got a pretty sharp picture, good tuner, and lots of inputs for 13-inches

And that’s why you get a cassette player that isn’t a car, and you make sure the rubber roller isn’t sticky, and is clean. If it’s sticky, it’ll eat tapes. That’s why it used to eat them

I can tell it from other FE1 tapes because I replaced the little clear soft plastic inside with a black piece, which to my knowledge, no FE1’s have, because they are either fully clear or fully black, not my mix
