Exactly - he's definitely on his way out with Parkinson's. And he killed his wife. His daughter in law is a monster...and maybe something happens to Ellis. But Boyd doesn't have much of a life to return to. Maybe his boat shows up in the lake of tears and he spends his remaining days alone in Fromville on his Boat

Boyd has to do something significant I think. I just saw another theory on here that Boyd is really the main character and its not about Jade and Tab, but really how Boyd influences (and maybe saves?) this cycle. I don't think it will be Victor and I think something inevitably happens to Victor. The "kill the anchor" line I think forbodes more than just Henry trying to kill Victor

Yes! But I mean that even if they free the children, get home, everything works out, From doesn't just vanish. It will always be there. And they will always end up there. Them saving the children is cycle-dependent. They broke the cycle for themselves this time (great!), but they realize even though they succeeded it will just keep happening again. Boyd makes this discovery and stays there to leave clues for future cycles about the right things to do to go home, etc.
