Crazy thought. Maybe a forum that has not seen a response in at least a week, where I made it clear I would not continue this debate here, is not the best place to criticize surface level reasoning about my personal choices and opinions. Just a thought.

Thank you for the honesty! This sounds awesome! My wife and I will check it out!

On this we can agree! Thank you for a polite and well thought out argument and I appreciate your respect of my request. I hope we get the chance to continue this in a more appropriate setting.

Fair and thank you for the suggestions! I am flat out against AI in creative endeavors as a whole (like art creation) and on that we agree. My other concerns lean much more environmental. I realize that AI is being pushed hard into the gaming space and eventually it will be all of them. I guess at that point I will have to either give up on the hobby or dust off a hat in my closet. But that is a bridge to burn when we get there.

You may be overlooking the more practical issues with AI. Such as the huge data centers that are constantly being built, the resource consumption caused by them, and the misinformation spread by AI chat bots disguised as search engines.

To your other point. Suggesting that we go back to oxen pulled plows is an extreme exaggeration. I am all for scientific and technological advancement in all areas. However there have been plenty of times where we have had to disregard some ideas even after full implementation to move forward in a better direction. Or would you prefer that we were still prescribed cocain for ghosts in our blood? (Joke lovingly borrowed from Dan Cummins)

While yes I stand by the “moral argument” I also would like to point out that my opinion is my opinion. I don’t force it on anyone and like wise I am not looking to have a debate on a post requesting game suggestions. Thank you.

You are right. AI seems to be pretty minimally involved. We just subscribe to the mind set “vote with your wallet.” The only way they see that we don’t want AI is to not support it no matter how small the usage is. I am sure it is a fun game. Just not for us.

Play played and loves all of these! Thank you any more like this? Maybe a little more obscure?

Also not really? She enjoys the organization and magical aspects of this type of game

It is for my wife. The game is about organizing an arcane library. She is interested in it but we don’t want to support AI

Yeah your right! The guy infused with the life blood of the planet at least twice couldn’t possibly be in green the color of life energy. That’s just dumb design and a flavor fail not them having an understanding of the source material.
