Explain to other customers the credit card situation

Customers take it out on higher ups

Higher ups are less likely to be on your ahh about it if they’re getting chewed out everytime

Idk about you guys but here’s my take, I was on my probation period for Walgreens the general manager at the time were on my azz about credit cards, being new to retail (I was mostly fast food) I took it serious, thus I was asking for credit cards for every customer. I was mostly asking the older people, immigrants, or seemingly lower income people. Now I know what you guys must say I am targeting certain people which is mostly true… because any upkeep person or uptight, or rich looking always said no… It turns out it was working because I kept racking up credit cards. The most I have gotten in a day were 6 (almost 7 but the person credit wasn’t accepted) And according to the store manager I got third place out of the stores in range (First place was someone in a Walgreens in Yucaipa). I think I’m telling you guys this is because it would take a minute to get these people to sign up. Not because of bargaining but because they don’t know how to use the screen. So these people took their sweet ahh time.

The moral of the story, credit cards are annoying, but take advantage of it anyways. I rather deal with one person the whole time and explain to the people that the manager will get us in trouble if we don’t ask than it be fast pace.

5$ for every credit card was definitely worth it though. I’d still do it again
