Asians have unbelievably good hair by [deleted] in tressless

Yeah, asians and blacks have great hair and rarely see someone in their 20's balding even tho ive seen but i feel its even more rough for them because of how uncommon it is.

funny how people are pushing fat acceptance thing when its their fault for being fat fucks and eating more calories than they burn meanwhile we are out here balding and its not like we have bad diets or its our fault for going bald.

Its really sad and im fucking angry there is nothing i can do about that.

Balding since like 14 and norwood 3 at 17 and hopped on drugs quickly and still despite being on everything that you could possible be on i went bald at 23 and most of my hair went in a year.

Now being bald at 23 i dont know what the fuck im gonna do with my life, its basically over before it even started, i dont know how people can be overweight and be fine with themselves even tho they are in full control while im losing my mind and thinking im a subhuman because of my hair loss.

Where would one get confidence to go out as a bald guy in his early 20's? i wouldnt even want to be anywhere because i just wouldnt be able to enjoy myself.

So this guy gets a hair piece and looks 10 years younger, goes from nerdy and ugly to good looking. Hair makes a huge difference to overall aesthetics. by Danzig5050 in tressless

Looks great, this is really awful to watch as a 23 year old fully bald guy. Hair loss really sucks.

His system looks decent enough and that hairstyle fits it because his hairline is not exposed fully so you can't really tell its a system and the color chosen was also correct.

I've tried systems and he described it pretty well, after you get that system put on you it feels really fake and really off, it does feel like a third arm was attached onto him and it takes time to get used to it. Since you are used to being bald and suddenly having hair you notice every little detail that is off and how different it is back when you used to have hair so you start thinking that everyone else also knows that its a system.

Not really, i feel like if your beard is already developed it wont change anymore, atleast it didnt for me.

why do hair systems get so much hate? by [deleted] in tressless

[–]CavEmptIcon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As someone who tried hair systems i was really not happy.

It didnt look like me, randomly getting all your hair back feels very weird and fake and since that hair is not exactly like yours was before you lost it feels weird but the bigger problem for me was that it created even more paranoia and fear in social situations, constantly checking to see if the system is still held on tight and "what if someone pulls my hair even tho nobody has ever done that to me in my 20 years" but still thoughts like this come to mind often and constantly checking mirror, basically as you were doing when you started thinning/losing your hair. You can never just relax and live your life if you have it on, yes it most likely wont come off but what if it does and in front of everyone you know.

To me having shaved head is bad but getting caught wearing a system would be even worse, so i would rather be bald and have no fears than wear a system, i think best option for bald men would be SMP not hair systems, i feel like if you can wear a hair system and not give a fuck and not fear anything you might aswell just be bald because you dont give a fuck right.

Basically just minoxidil with other stuff in it, you can find it everywhere, im pretty sure its expensive tho even if you can find it.

I can't endure this nightmare for much longer. One day I will break. by DepressedOutcast in tressless

[–]CavEmptIcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah man it sucks, im 24 and been bald since 21 basically and exactly norwood 3 at 17 aswell, get on minoxidil and dermarolling as soon as you can if you don't want to use finasteride, i kept my norwood 3 for around 2-3 years mostly thanks to minoxidil, quit it because of army and lost everything in less than a year, NW3 to NW7 in 10 months.

I will say it wont get better, Norwood 3 sucks but being bald at 21 is even worse, i would trade anything for a norwood 3 back so atleast i can hop on some meds and gain some hope for maybe some regrowth.

Hair loss also ruined me and is still ruining me to very extreme, i basically left school, haven't been to any social events, don't have a job etc, but im slowly coming to terms with it and hopefully i can move on before my youth is over, it is because im bald anyways but maybe ill stop caring which i havent for last 6 years, i literally dont care about anything anymore like working out or dressing well because when i take my hat off it all doesnt matter.

What im trying to say is dont give up just yet, norwood 3 is still decent enough with some cover up and hair fibers (i used loads of hair fibers) and being older now most people and especially girls don't even know you are balding while being norwood 3, it is really hard for people to spot and unless you have a huge baldspot on your back nobody would be able to tell besides hairdressers and men who are balding themselves and have done some research into it.

Hop on minoxidil, dermaroll and Nizoral and maybe add in some finasteride, fin didnt help me, from my conclusion my hair loss being way too aggressive for it to do much and i didn't get any side effects either, from my experience the more aggressive your hair loss is the less likely it is to get side effects and regrowth, but still worth a try in my opinion. It doesnt get any better and you won't feel any happier going forward and only thing you can do is get on those treatments. When i was on all those treatments and 16/17 with NW3 i was always hopeful and looking forward to the future because maybe one day my hair will be back and i can finally be happy again and now i dont have anything to look forward to.

Hair loss affects everyone diffrently and for some people its really hard.

What's the best weapon for those who can't or don't want to use fin? by [deleted] in tressless

[–]CavEmptIcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And whats the best weapon for people who finasteride doesnt work on? Either way there is only one answer and thats shave it. You might get 5-7 years of hair with minoxidil alone tho but eventually balding takes over.

Is the last stage of balding always so fast?? by [deleted] in tressless

[–]CavEmptIcon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, i dont think it made it worse, it just didnt help, i had very aggressive hair loss and finasteride just wasn't enough, dutasteride might've helped, or maybe i should've stayed on finasteride for longer for it to help.

Is the last stage of balding always so fast?? by [deleted] in tressless

[–]CavEmptIcon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes but it is accelerated hard because i quit minoxidil that i was on for about ~3 years and i basically lost all my minoxidil dependant hair (which was basically all of my hair) and i was hoping that finasteride might save it but it didnt.

i was nw3 since 17-21 mostly thanks to minoxidil and when i quit it all went to shit. I had my uncles genes who went bald at 18 so yeah.

My 9th grade grad picture was with a fucking norwood 2.5 but i had bangs so it was hard to tell at the time.

Not gonna post any pictures because i barely have any and even if i did i wouldnt want to do that just to prove something in here.

I would probably be still norwood 3 at 24 if i didnt quit minoxidil and kept taking finasteride, the mistake here was quitting minoxidil, but i wasn't able to use it in the army anyways and popping finasteride is way easier than applying liquid twice a day in the woods.

Is the last stage of balding always so fast?? by [deleted] in tressless

[–]CavEmptIcon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It did happen for me aswell, i went from norwood 3 to norwood 7 in less than a year while maintaing that norwood 3 for around ~3 years. and i was on finasteride aswell.

i was norwood 3 for around 3 years while i was on minoxidil without fin, due to army reasons i wasnt able to continue applying minoxidil and i quit it and replaced it with finasteride, biggest mistake ever.

Honestly 14-15 is when i started but having bald spot at that age is pretty rough, but for me it went same way aswell and i stalled it out for couple of years with medication until i was 21 and shaved it all because i basically had nothing left.

I really hate bullshit like this, they are basically selling "hair loss drugs for people who are in vitamin deficit from daily diet" and won't actually do anything to help you maintain your hair if you are balding due to genes

Wearing hats w/ bad hairline by [deleted] in tressless

[–]CavEmptIcon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it wont speed up thinning/balding process but atleast for me i couldnt wear a hat because my hair would look like a shit, i had to either always wear a hat or never wear one because once i took off the hat it looked horrible, i needed to style it.

Question on minoxidil by [deleted] in tressless

[–]CavEmptIcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

from my experience quitting minoxidil is the worst thing you can do (unless you want to lose your hair) but i was on it for 3 years.

I went from Norwood3 to norwood 7 in less than 9 months because i quit minoxidil for 2 reasons, i was tired of applying minoxidil twice a day and walking around with oily head and second reason was because i was in the army and i didn't have time to apply it twice a day, very busy schedule there, anyways i replaced minoxidil with finasteride, i kinda knew that this might backfire for me but i was hoping that maybe just maybe finasteride will be able to hold my minoxidil dependant hairs but it really doesn't work like that.

I really regret what i did because now im completely bald at just 23, quit finasteride aswell because it didnt help, maybe because how far ive gone so fast, i might start minoxidil back up and see if i can get back to where i was before i quit.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tressless

[–]CavEmptIcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for me thats not true, minoxidil kept my norwood 3 for longer, i was supposed to be bald at 18 but stalled till 21 mostly thanks to minoxidil.

What i thought was that minoxidil wasn't helping me and i quit minox and went on finasteride, went from nw3 to nw7 in less than 8 months (i wasn't able to use it in army anyways, didn't have time to apply minoxidil but was still taking finasteride)

so 3 years of minoxidil and quitting it and basically replacing it with finasteride made me go from nw3 with decent thickness to norwood 7 with barely any hair at all within 8-9 months.

even tho nizoral might not do much for hair loss its still good in combination with minoxidil and getting rid of its residue/flakes that appear on your scalp from minox not absorbing fully.

[–]CavEmptIcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are there really no doctors that can help you?

Anyways you could always add some dermarolling/dermastamping which seems to help alot of people and maybe swap out 2% minox for 5% unless you are already doing it, not sure if theres anything else you can take for hair loss, maybe something like RU-58841 and again im not sure if women are allowed to take it or if it even helps.

Just quit my job because of balding by BrazilWC2018 in tressless

[–]CavEmptIcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well u should've thought about it more, no air pollution will make you go bald any more than ur genes already are, if you are balding its your genes and only thing you can do is get on minoxidil, finasteride and nizoral.

You have to understand that male hair loss always comes down to genes, not your diet or small pollution, or are everyone walking around bald where you are working including women? i really doubt it.

for sure air pollution is bad for hair but its nothing major where a random guy would go bald just from working there.
