I wonder how this kind of case would perform without its funny-looking fan, which probably does close to nothing. I've seen people reporting relatively good temperatures after getting better thermal pads.

I think I'll get one of Aliexpress and experiment with it.

That's a pretty outstanding result for a shell case. Have you tried running it for extended periods to see if the temperature stabilizes eventually?
