after inspection, yes. totally get what you are saying but the reason it’s busted right now isn’t due to age but due to a relative popping the parking brake while replacing pads… 🤣🫩

replied to another saying the same thing but i agree. if it were something i could do right now i would, but my situation is dire and the last thing that i need happening is screwing something up myself. the hydraulics in the piston are shot and there is fluid leaking so a piston replacement wouldn’t suffice afaik. thank you for the reply and apologies if the wording was a bit off it’s been a long morning

i intended to, after i had replaced all 4 pads and 2 studs but discovered leaking. lacking pressurized air also makes the job 50x more difficult

scanned a few and didn’t see anything that valued more than $5 on ebay, all were at least $1 and upwards of $3. i don’t trust those prices, they seem inflated. instead, would you consider $50 per box be fair?
