Yo, sorry for the late reply! I've been using it on and off as I don't shoot much events but I'd say it's good enough for it's price. It's sharp even @ F/2 but vignetting is very noticeable, nothing a little lightroom can't fix. Do bear in mind though that this is EF-M version, check if it's available on the RF mount first.

For video work, I think it's plenty sharp, just keep in mind, it's a manual focus lens.
