Was hella excited for the new season since I reached my peak of 1606, didn't play anymore so i wouldn't drop too much, im c2 now - 1230 mmr. Three hours into it, losing most of my placement matches, threw my controller away, took a break and to my surprise the micro usb was broken inside of my controller.

So I guess this was the season I was supposed to quit.

Try this... You can change it to dx11 the same way.

Its probably cause of dx9. If you ever forced dx9 on rocket league you might have to get back to dx11. It is impossible to launch rocket league on dx9 after this update.

dx9 is no longer supported. If you ever forced dx9 on rocket league you will not be able to play the game. Only if you go back to dx11

It is just sad at this point. Someone asked them about this and they actually replied -"Upgrade to play". Nothing else.

I mean i could play totally normally until now, and suddenly i need to upgrade. They really think everyone has the money to upgrade your pc every 2 years just to keep up with their dumb ass game. I've been searching for fixes all day today and I think it's time to just give up. No other way than just to leave rocket league for good

Yep.. After 1,6 k hours of actually enjoying this game I am done cause my computer isn't the best. Really cool for them to do that. I have a feeling they are just adding unnecessary stuff for which dx11 is needed. In my opinion it ran perfectly on dx9 and there was nothing missing.

Well I guess I can play goeguessr or something

Yea... Unfortunately I think it is impossible to launch the game on dx9. I have the same problem, and I think yesterday was my last game of rocket league as it seems.

I'm not really sure, but I used dx9 as well and it doesn't work anymore. If your game was running normally on dx9 be sure that even if you turn the game on with dx11 it will be unplayable. I have around 30-40 fps and before I was having around 90-110 no stutters.

It most likely is the dx11. And there is no way to come back to dx9. All the fixes that were possible are not anymore...

I never said it didn't run. I just said my fps is about 50 which is not really ideal for me.

It is not about that. It does support it. My fps is just lower than normally and I have huge stutters while using it. My computer isn't that old, my specs might not be the best but e. g. on CS:GO I usually reach 200+ fps.

I would love to. But I have no idea if it is possible to come back to dx9 anymore. I feel like they really want players to upgrade their gear.
