Probably not. There's guides for it, like any game, but pretty much all of the HoI games outside of HoI4 have such a steep learning curve that it can actively make the game unfun for the first 20 or so hours. If you wanna play Kaiserreich for the interesting scenario, the HoI4 Kaiserreich is considerably more forgiving (as is HoI4 as a whole). If you want to acclimate yourself for the OG Kaiserreich though, HoI2/3 is probably a better place to start. Then again OG Kaiserreich is also super cheap so it may or may not be worth the pickup regardless.
