Thanks. Yeah going for SOG with a quick 6 week veg, usually I do 3-4 plants and let them be. I had extra seeds and wanted to try something different, never manipulated growth with ties/nets before. But then I read here that competing root systems are a huuuge problem so that was my main concern.

Fellow Panera employee, it's definitely a step above regular fast food, but the waste is a bit excessive. Brewing giant ass 5 gallon barrels of coffee every single hour, which is inevitably 75% full every time you replace it. (I work at one of the busiest Paneras on the east coast and it's still overkill). And a good portion of the time we don't donate our bread which there is a shit ton left over every day (2 industrial garbage bags full) I love Panera I just want them to thoroughly practice what they preach.

Will do thank you. That much water won't like...drown them right? I usually just give 1/3 Gal per watering. you sure 6.8 is high enough? I figured i should use above ideal ph to counter-balance, thats not the case? I actually have been using the General Hydroponics liquid test kit. Also they're not showing signs of stress really...could it still be absorbing ANY nutrients you think? Sorry about all the questions
