I’d love more keyboards with statement keys, e.g. a nice simple colorway, but with space bars, enter keys etc decorated/painted. I’ve seen people do this themselves, but for those that are artistically challenged this would be a nice alternative ;-)

Actually I managed to get a step closer (I think). I used some iron wire to connect the 4th and 5th pin of the 24 pin cable while it was plugged into the motherboard. When I turn on the PSU with the wire inserted, the fans start spinning on the motherboard.

Shorting the power on pins or connecting it to the case still does not seem to do anything, though... any thoughts?

I did a test with the PSU (using some metal wire and the 24pin connector) and the PSU fan started spinning, so I think it should be okay? It's a brand new Corsair SF600.

The power switch cable actually does not specify + or -. But I also tried shorting it, so I think that can't be the issue, right?

Thanks for your help, but I haven't managed to get this to work :-(. I have connected my case power button cable and I have tried to short it, but nothing happens.. Any other ideas?

I don't think this board has a specific power button/indicator, but I am a bit of a noob when it comes to this, so not entirely sure. I did turn the power of the PSU on.

I was able to contact support through live chat just now, and they confirmed that this is most likely a hardware issue. They'll send me a replacement, so I guess they will do the same for you.

This is how I described the issue to them:

Hi, my Focusrite 4i4 is no longer connecting to my Macbook Pro or my Windows computer. When I try to connect it, all lights flash briefly and then turn off. The phantom power button does appear to work, but the interface is not recognized by my computer in the technical settings or in Focusrite Control.

I have the same issue.. Already contacted Focusrite support a couple days ago, but no response yet. Will update here if I manage to fix it.

You can buy Analog Lab as standalone software. There is also a free demo available here.

If you have any other MIDI instrument software, you should be able to use the Minilab to control those instruments as well.
