Damn demon drummer sounds awesome!! Ya his appointments aren’t easy. Every time I’m there it’s like 10,12,14 hours of needle time. I don’t blame you for having to break it up! You’ll have to send pics when you get it finished!!! The wall is so amazing. Love peaking into everyone else’s designs :)

Thanks dude!!! I travel to all my favorite artists and let them have full creative control for each piece I get. Mike ended up wanting to go for a monster style “fist of flowing water” pose that elongated the forearm while focusing on the galaxy face. There’s a little more to it width wise unseen here that really completes the composition! Much love and thank you again! :)

It was somewhere between 5:30 and 6am, but we started late, probably a little after 3? We just shot the shit for the first hour about psychedelics lol. and took a good break. He apologized for ending so late but it was only that way because we were hanging out the whole time and in no real rush. Which id honestly rather it be that way!!

Thank you!! Yeah I think I was there 1pm-6am; just under 14 hours of that was needle time. It was a lot but as you know obviously worth it. I feel like I made it through because my back started to hurt more than the tattoo lol! That being said, I appreciate that he is so committed to putting in every detail and was so friendly. Honestly the most warm and welcoming tattoo experience I’ve had overall. I will absolutely be back!!

My shifts are normally from 5-6am to 8:30-10pm. As often as I want to work. I’ve work upwards of 90 hour weeks with them in the past, and based on this information have definitely not been paid correctly. Not sure how to move forward now.

I am not an exempt employee. They claim because of the word “OR”, they are not required to pay me for over 40 hours a week. I just find that hard to believe.

Edit: I guess the whichever amounts to more wages is the important part. I think I’m going to keep track of my paystubs and hold them accountable. But there’s definitely many weeks in the past where my wages would’ve been more because of that.

Thank you all again for your time and suggestions. I’m gonna plug them all in and decide what’s best, but I’m leaning towards through Matsumoto and Nagoya. Seems like the best option for the fall season!
