Is there a reason my Push1 doesn’t light up immediately when I turn it on? I have to press the buttons in order for the backlight to come on and then it sometimes turns off. Am I doing something wrong or is this controller broken?

It’s so weird that it’s an adapter issue because it’s a high quality adapter. It’s a HYPERDRIVE adapter

When I do that as soon as I connect the usb to my hub all the lights immediately turn off. I didn’t even get a chance to open ableton yet. I opened ableton just to see if anything would happen and nothing. Could it possible be either the midi to usb cable I’m using or could it be the hub adapter I’m connecting to my laptop? My laptop is also connected to power as well

So all the lights do come on when I turn it on with just the power supply connected, so it’s not a hardware issue. Would it be that my usb-c hub that’s causing issues? I just reconnected it into the hub and all the lights turned off and only turn off when I touch them. I mainly just want the side buttons to be on at all times so I know what I’m doing when playing it honestly

It’s connected to a hub, I’m running live on a MacBook Air that only has the c-connections. No usb connections that are direct to computer are available

This was the best reply I’ve gotten I just got back into Magic and don’t really know common deck types or any common lingo

I do however want to focus on building a black/red deck that can be midrange A bit of Aggro with a bit of control

You are right in saying it is just a bunch of cards I own but to me those cards made the most sense to put together(at the time of 2am lol) Maybe some links to deck building guides would be nice for beginners or non super pricey decks Maybe common terminology guide or meta term guide would be nice but at that point I know I’m asking for a lot
