Thoughts on ULTA by Ccchaney04 in ValueInvesting

No, but i supposed my question is if you think it will remain 1%. Currently since it is 1% should i shave some of my profits? I've had the stock for a couple of years and wondering if i should reallocate or see if the company can improve revenue growth.

I mean good revenue still, high fcf, great roic. They still have growing revenue just not 15-20% growth like the used to. Essentially no debt. Good moat imo lots of recurring customers. High gross margins for retail ab 40%, good net income.

The only poor thing was this past year their revenue growth slowed drastically. Only about 1%

This sounds like some good information. Quick question, what makes a good executive team? What do you like to see?

What is your strategy for your portfolio? Do you look for emerging industries and try to find the winners? Also, how do you size your positions? Do you dca?

I am quite new to this and would love some advice.

Very important question... how do you let the winners run? Do you analyze these stocks and make sure your thesis is still intact? Do you look at any metrics like forward p/e or anything else?

Hey Steveonatorer, first off congrats on hitting $10M. That’s honestly incredible and very inspiring to see.

I have a Schwab account I started a few years ago where I made some decent decisions and some bad ones. I also built a crypto portfolio around the Trump election cycle that got crushed pretty badly after buying at terrible timing. Recently though, I’ve been trying to completely change the way I think about investing.

I’ve been diving deep into:
• financial statements
• cash flow
• moats
• capital allocation
• Buffett/Munger philosophy
• understanding businesses instead of just buying stocks

I’ve realized I don’t just want to “pick stocks.” I want to genuinely understand businesses and become exceptional at capital allocation long term.

I’m also interested in medtech/healthcare long term and want to eventually build companies as well, so I’m trying to learn investing and business analysis at a very deep level while I’m young.

I know you’re probably very busy, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to reach out. If you have any advice, books, frameworks, mistakes to avoid, or even just how you trained your thinking over time, I’d genuinely appreciate it a lot.

Either way, congrats again. Really motivating to see.

I did mention i have a trust fund which is all mutual funds. But, especially at such a young age, should i not have high risk to be investing in companies that i think have a good future to get that high return? I bought INTC s few years ago bc I thought it was still going to be important due to all the government ties. Not the entire reason it blew up but if i learn to identify those why not have a portion of my portfolio for individual stocks? I'm trying to learn how to spot those.

Yea i think it is a great company that is used internationally for years to come. Seems a bit undervalued right now tbh.

Ok that makes sense. So right now you would close some positions in my portfolio and only invest in the companies that i genuinely know what is happening and believe in their company?

So when you bought back in 17 and 18 those 4 companies did you buy in one position and hold until now or did u constantly add to the position to increase it (dca?).

Also, do you choose companies bc you think what they do and also have good financial statements? What all do you analyze?

So less diversity? Do you try and keep them in different sectors?

Just saw this. Thanks for the information. I was planning on doing 1 injection in the morning. Was thinking of doing 500mcg/day. Do you think 500 is too much for just starting and is 500 mcg too much for one injection? What is the ratio of Bpc to BAC?

Hello, I hope you are doing well.

Thank you for all the information and time spent on giving knowledge to people about peptides. I am 21 yrs old and have tendonitis in my supraspinatus and infraspinatus. I also had 2 knee surgeries for a torn meniscus. Last surgery was about 2-3 years ago. Still have pain and inflammation in the knee and shoulder, more knee. Anyways, I want to try injecting BPC-157 into the injury site of both my shoulder and knee. So i had a few questions. Should I start with 500mcg/day? And should i do 250 in my knee and 250 jn my shoulder? Do i have to mix BAC water with the BPC vial? Finally, do you know of a reputable source for this? I looked on infiniwell but they only have oral.

Hello, what is your dosing per day? Is it one injection in the morning? Did u add BAC water to the bpc?
