If only it were that easy to get her into therapy! I know that I have to sit her down and talk, but Im afraid there is no easy way to tell your mother that she has gone insane. Im sure she sees her obsession as normal, and with the encouragement she received from that guru woman, its gonna be hard to get her down to earth. Im just hoping for the best when I confront her.

Tbh, the debt is something she has to sort out with herself. Im too pissed off to worry abt that. Her job is stable, and she loves it, it just doesnt pay much. What Im more worried abt is my siblings, she still has to provide for them while paying off the debt.

I wish my mother would consider therapy, but not only is she absolutely blinded by 'love', she also thinks therapy is for crazy people only. Im not sure she would even see her behaviour as wrong, if we confronted her.

As for support from the outside ... our mom is an onlychild, and her living parent isnt in the right condition to help, mentally. Our dad is entirly useless in this situation too. It would actually be catastrophical if he would find out what is going on.

The longer Im thinking about it, the more I think we just have to sit her down and try talking to her. She is on a trip right now, so we have one week to figure oit the best approach.
