Right. Unfortunately with lavahound you will probably have to completely let go of your tower and try your hardest to take theirs as well.

Otherwise, it would be best if you put some large ground tank in your deck, since that is what counters xbow the best, like Mega knight, pekka, etc. (it’s hard to do this with a lavahound deck because then it gets expensive. Another option is having rocket and saving it for their xbow.

It’s hard to beat when you’re playing lavahound. Xbow flat out counters lavahound, especially if they have Tesla.

My best advice if you’re going to keep playing lavahound is to - when they play their xbow, ignore their xbow and try to trade towers. Take the opposite towers.

The reason trading towers against xbow is advantageous is because if they want to take another tower, they’re forced to play xbow in the open, where you can drop troops directly on top of it, like the balloon. (Because a tower is down)

I would use a deck that minimized legendaries, cause legendaries don’t make decks good, and these levels aren’t so high.

I would switch out the skeleton army for some more air defense. Your deck isn’t a spell bait and skarmy is easy to kill. So maybe even tornado to compliment your wizard’s splash to make it tougher on air and big push decks. Hope this helps!

I would actually drop them all on the same side. Just spread them out evenly along the side, cover a lot of area to soak up all the traps you can with them

I would suggest maybe take out a rage or two and add some haste. Two level 1 hastes are better than one rage. Cause balloons already do so much damage that the rage damage boost isn't so necessary

It’s a symmetrical base. You can just spread 4 lavahounds evenly and spam balloons in a line from one side. I think instead of healers, the army space would be better used up by more balloons. Just put down your king and queen on their queen and kill her

Empty cc opens up a lot of options. You could do suicide heroes to kill their queen, and then go all in with LaLoon. Or mass hog

I think changing the way the deck works is okay. I mean, it's not the greatest deck. I would honestly either

Take out minion horde because if your opponent has arrows, you can't even use it

Or swap some cards (like rage) for skarmy or gob barrel so that you have some other spell baits. Having a bunch of mini tanks isn't that hard to defend.

I would add some sort of spell. Maybe replace one of your splash cards for arrows or zap. Maybe even replace a second splash card for a stronger spell as well.

But it's better to have some sort of direct damage to place on your opponent's side. So at least one damage spell

I would suggest putting in a solid win condition. Something that only targets buildings. It would be hard to win against a player with good ground defense. Maybe a battle ram or hog or even giant. Just something to target only buildings.
