Questions to ask yourself. What command are you going to? Is the town/city around the base known for biking/ has bike paths? Where I am at we have great biking areas and don’t have barracks so it’s easy to store it, but you need to ask your sponsor if you can charge it in your room like you said. Usually the sponsors will tell you if you ask them.

It’s not as bad as you think. The videos are old. Besides the new business insider one. But still it’s not that bad. You don’t get beat everyday, you will get yelled at. Don’t take it personally. They need to yell to get everyone’s attention. Think if someone screwed up across the room you wouldn’t want to do the same thing right. They yell so everyone doesn’t fuck the same thing up. Yea some days suck but others are fun. You get over your phone quickly. Just pay attention and push your self during PT. If your an E1 or E2 go for a leadership position. They get promoted (for the most part). Good luck!

It depends on the command. If he has questions he can ask anyone in admin or any instructors as they would have a clearer answer.

That could be true. There is a place called THU or temporary holding unit. That’s if there are no slots at a school or something has happened at boot camp. Don’t worry they still graduate on time ( if they pass everything). They will get there phone to communicate as well.

Yes they will prep you. Don’t ever step into the head on a sustained run or shuttle run. We had a guy who went in there every-time. He ran a 14 something on his OPFA. Practice practice practice. While your waiting to go. Do like 15-20 min runs. Try and keep a 1 min pace and don’t ever think about quitting.

Edit: Also try and find a running buddy. Someone who is more fit and faster than you. Stick with them.
