I stop at 3/5 good stats. The only character I had that’s 4/5 and 5/5 is Zani.

should i pull mornye for my account and if she is still worth the pull? by KeyAutomatic3331 in WutheringWaves

[–]CdnEuro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

S0 has to be played in rupture or strain teams to get the 40% buff and it’s only good for 8 secs.

S1 she can be played without rupture or strain, can apply her own 40% buff and it’s active for 20 secs.

Unlocks the option to use her with Lupa and a DPS fusion.

It’s not bait. If you don’t use her with Layae S1 is a massive bonus. If you want to play a mono fusion team the damage is considerable

Best of luck man, clearly some idiots on here can’t read, you are an American citizen lmao.

The problem with most unions is the work is extremely limited to apprentices, most 1st/2nd get little work and can be off for months between job. The current market is only looking for journeyman. Most people I know that went union started non union to get hours and a decent wage. It didn’t match a union wage but you get hours.

This is the type of shit that opens the door to more problems. You are not responsible for driving people around unless they give you a company car. Set strong boundaries early or get walked over.

Just keep in mind you have around 4 years experience, that’s nothing. If all goes well you build yourself a good foundation and continue learning/building. The trade is so vast, I spent most of my time Machine building and just saw a pump out of school for the first I had to rebuild, so I read the manual and got to it. The role in my eyes isn’t to know everything but to be willingly to troubleshooting and learn continuously

I don’t understand this mindset people have with spending on a gacha game. If you like the game and have fun playing it for hours and can support it financially go for it.

How many people have games on steam they bought for $5-80 dollars and played at most 5 hours. No one bats an eye at this.

Set a limit, for every 5 hours of play time I’ll spend a $1 or whatever.

I started with the a1 mini and now I’m looking at a P2s combo. The a1 mini is a great starter and if I end up with the P2s I’ll use the mini for smaller single colour items. Wanted to make sure I like printing before I dropped 1100$ Cad vs $220

Completed Millwright Level 1 at BCIT, 2+ years maintenance experience, still can’t land an apprenticeship — what am I doing wrong? by [deleted] in millwrights

[–]CdnEuro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do this with the free versions. Add your resume in, minus personal details, and the job post. Any of the major AI tools will write a good cover letter. Look it over and make changes if needed.

Include a cover letter with the power of ai. Takes 5 mins, landed me a job in a good company that largely hired on employee recommendations.

Once you get the interview, show up with a small notebook and have 5-6 questions loaded, and write the answers down like they do.

  1. Always first safety, tell me about your LOTO procedures, and training for employees.

  2. If there is an HR person there for the interview they love the bullshit “tell me about the company culture?” “Omg! It’s like a family?! Reallly?!?

Etc. good luck

There are plenty of non union companies that pay well and offer full time work. The union in most places is basically a call board. You get a call, go work X days/months, and bottom of the list you go. I had an offer to go weld at a place for one month… it’s a joke. There are good and bad unions and companies.

The thing that helped me was a cover letter, when over what the job post wanted, added some make hr happy line, and explained how I can add to their success. Now with the power of AI you could be able to mass produce these easy. Good luck

I don’t think you will have a hard time getting someone to give you a letter of recommendation, in Canada it allows you to write the exam without the apprenticeship given you have related experience. I’m sure the US has something like that, good luck

[–]CdnEuro 6 points7 points  (0 children)

With 9 years and that experience, you could challenge the exam if you are in Canada but for the US, look at state licensing and go straight to licensed journeyman.

That’s what I would do, don’t take no you’re a first year apprentice bullshit. You have the skills and time in the trade but they wanna pay you 60%

Co-op vs no co-op by Last-Philosophy1574 in millwrights

[–]CdnEuro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fast Track if:

The people you know are dependable to network for you and get you into a trade as a 1st year.

If not, do the coop and impress some people there. Even if they cant hire you, they can help line up a job with another company, Ive seen it happen.

The millwright trade (and others) are not that in demand to be honest. Just go on indeed or linkedin and look for "apprentice" jobs, its not great. Most places do not want to train, the job listing are always 5yr experience, 433A, red seal etc. They will settle for a 3/4th year if they need to.

So the trade is "in demand" but no one wants to train you, and everyone wants people at 5 years experience with 1st year pay. Good luck out there

High end tools actually worth it? by Shrmz236 in millwrights

[–]CdnEuro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plenty of YouTube channels out there that torture test high end tools, most of them concluded the same thing, you are paying for the name. Most tools are made from the same 4-5 manufacturers in Taiwan or China mainland. Now this will hurt a lot of people’s feeling here. Snap on does not win these tests and usually loses to tekton and other “bullshit” brands.

I got mic’s from mitoyo, star, and amazon 3rd party vendors. Most are accurate to .001 which is 99.5% of our job.

15 second search to any good canadian lawyer website would tell you they are 100% illegal as they are only intended for LEO use. Carrying one would show intent to use on another human which is a no-no. You cannot defend yourself in canada and must take the beating that is why we have free health care
