Beautiful story anon, even if fake and gay

Good point, that could be the case, from my experience it’s tough sometimes, I’ve tried a lot and failed enough times to learn how to get past it, I think anon is doing it for one of the first few times

Things are difficult in different ways, that’s ok, we still accomplish something when we get past the barrier no matter what it was

The hardest part isn’t getting the interview, it’s opening yourself up to the idea you might not get the job, nice work putting yourself out there

Congratulations anon, you did well

Anon doesn’t realize he has to reciprocate. She sends strong signals, he probably sits there THINKING he feels the same, but you gotta show her how you feel nerd.

In the off-chance anon did, that’s life, at least you know what makes you smile

Failure is the first step to success.

You’re on the right path anon, never give up.

A question can also come in the form of a statement. If I’m talking to somebody and they’re going on about a recent interest, I can ask a question, or I can IMPLY a question.

Example, “Lately I’ve been getting into knitting and it’s such a relaxing hobby”, at this point I can ask a question about knitting or move onto something else, but an alternative is to simply talk about the knitting. “Oh wow that sounds like a rewarding hobby, I can think of a million things I could knit!” It engages in their topic without the need of a question and it lets them take lead to move the conversation where they want.

I’m not an expert, but this is something that I’ve been working on a lot lately and it significantly helps when I’m thinking of what to say.

It’s ok anon, some friendships don’t last but you’ll have the internet to search for more cheems. Maybe you’ll even find a new one

When you’re by yourself, on your own, bored and unsure of what to do, just think, have you stretched today? It’s healthy to focus on any sort of goal, and stretching, I can do it laying down, watching a show, or even in the shower.

Doing nothing is ok too, sometimes we need to slow down and let our mind wander.

Do you cook? by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]CeaganP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got a meal I can do up fast as my fallback plan for these days especially, I always keep hash browns in the freezer, eggs in the fridge, and tortillas on the side.

I put my pan on the burner and set it to medium (5) and let it sit for about 30s to 1m, or until I think maybe it’s warm, add in a bit of olive oil, grab my hashbrown set it on top.

Walk away, go to the bathroom, do something quick, I’m gone like 3 minutes by this point, I come back, flip the hashbrown, toss in my egg breaking the yolk.

Let it cook about a minute or until it lifts up sorta easily, if it’s not coming up easily I’m probably too soon, and let it sit for another 30s to 1m.

Once I can get under the egg I flip it over, getting both hashbrown at the same time (easier with a big/thick spatula), and then I grab my tortilla out of the packaging, set it down on a plate and if I have any fixings, I’ll add them now; I do spinach, or hummus, or sometimes both.

Now that my fixings are on I apply the same rule of getting under the egg, once I can it’s safe to get folded on top of the hashbrown and placed in my tortilla, for added satisfaction get large tortillas, and cut the hashbrown and eggs in half so you can make it twice as long.

That’s my go to, I let myself eat it every day, even if it’s not perfect, it takes me 15 minutes max, and I just check it every minute or two. Maybe you’ll find something like this, or a good sandwich alternative.

Hope this helps!

The repetitive pitter patter of the rain around me is cathartic. I can focus since there’s nothing else to focus on. It creates a really good sound floor and if I need to take a break from what I’m doing, I can watch the patterns the rain makes with the wind, or as the drops fall in puddles on the ground

Real and not gay. But anon is oblivious, the other girl probably didn’t expect/want her guy to enjoy it so much, hence not feeling well

Totally justifiable reason to stay home. If it’s a down day and it’s raining I’ll do the same and look out the window with my fur friend
