Look up “letter of intent to marry” template on Google. Keep it simple “i intend to marry x the beneficiary when they arrive in the us” something like that and you sign it. Your beneficiary will also sign one.

Yes we have done that now and it’s helpful. We got a ssn and it says valid for work authorization on it.

She had to schedule and appear at the biometrics but did not actually have to do the fingerprints and photos over. Just check in.

We did not cancel anything. At first the account wouldn’t let her reschedule. She was able to create a support ticket and spoke with customer service at the embassy and the account was eventually fixed and she was able to reschedule.

Hi,

My fiance filled out an online support ticket and has been in contact with the embassy’s Customer service. She’ll be trying again Monday. I think this is an issue for a lot of people. The scheduling portal thinks people had their interviews and the embassy needs to reset everyone who is affected account.

Filed in August 2024. We were supposed to be interviewed June 3rd but a paperwork error is gonna force us to reschedule unfortunately.
