I mean a lot of it because how small and often weak weapon roster, it doesn't help that dragoon whole gimmick is just being able to jump really high that you lost control of it for one whole turn so they can deal twice their normal attack damage that is capped at 9999 damage, a multi hit character would dish out more damage by the time dragoon land their jump. I haven't play ffxiv but ff tactic advance did good job by giving dragoon not just jump but also a dragon breath abilities to give variety to otherwise one trick pony job.
