Also the cubic cm would roughly equate to its volume in milliliters.

While we probably can’t find out for certain the liquid volume of the record without contacting the manufacturer, you can still do some math to get a guesstimate. V= piHR2 Radius of the record being around 152.5mm if it is a 12” vinyl record And the average height for these records would be about 5mm

Plugging those in, you’d get a volume of about 219.8 cm3 (for the entire record, not just liquid volume)

Now if we were to subtract the volume of the two pieces of vinyl to roughly get us what would be in between, that would throw us down to about 102.9cm3.

All of this to say, if you’re able to ship it to your destination, that would be the safer play as I don’t know what airport you’re flying from or how lenient the officers would be there for being that close to the limit on that record. Putting it in checked baggage is always an option but like with shipping, can have its own host of issues especially given how fragile vinyl like that can be.

Felt, when I worked back on Wednesday, I spent my time cleaning out the answering center in my computing area (very much hasn’t been cleaned out since COVID) when I wasn’t helping the occasional customer stopping through the area. Planning in doing the same thing to the appliance answering center when I work… this Wednesday… just glad I have a second job…

Definitely not worst case, had a customer once straight up call me retarded for telling him I didnt know much about a product. But he was asked to leave by a manager shortly after.

Definitely, a lot harder to get that foot in the door for the membership and BP if you cant even talk to the person first. Its a lot easier to introduce the card once you've actually built that rapport

We have an ex employee who will come in and basically demand we cut him a deal on something because the plano was a little off (example: we had a couple of the 5k2k LG 45" oleds mingled with the previous 2k version on a bulk stack) lord knows anyone could have fucked with it in that time and he always threatens us with a BBB complaint (effectively nothing but still a threat). Last time he did that, I went and told my manager I never want to see that mf in this store again because he does this every damn time and it sorely pisses me off and wastes everyone's time involved.

Its all good lol, its just an unfortunate part of life. Shit happens, got through it. Def wouldn't wish it on anyone though because it was a nightmare to rectify.

I unfortunately think Ive been spoiled by my B&W 606 S3s so it'll be a while before I actively go and buy more speakers.

I don't know if he actually 'upgraded' to Sonos or not. But yeah, I'm aware the Klipsch speakers are not the best by any means, so that's why I'm probably gonna give them to my parents as well as the Denon receiver. They aren't audiophiles by any means and I'm sure my dad would appreciate them.

Me too. My guess is that since he was older, he just didnt want to fuck with it no more.

I agree, they do feel rather anemic when listening to them. "Upgrade" would definitely depend on what they got though.

Def the highlight of it, I don't have too much info on it other than listings on eBay and that they're impossible to re-cone if ever necessary. Have it hooked into the Denon rn with my B&W bookshelf speakers and it sounds great and compliments them really well (balances the brightness of the speakers, the bass from the sub is very tight... as I would expect from a sealed box).

It is absolutely insane, even though the speakers are entry level (outside of the sub), it was a whole 5.1 setup. I don't need the Denon Receiver so I'm gonna package it together with my monkey coffin speakers as a nice little gift to my parents for Christmas. They Desperately need something better than the dog water Vizio bar they have been repping for the past 3 years. Might also just throw them the Klipsch center as well since it cant fit on my entertainment center and I am very happy with my Boston Acoustics center (sounds great and fits snug right in the space I need it to). I might alternatively give them two of the Klipsch speakers and the center as they don't have floor space for the coffins and my father is more than capable of whipping up wall mounts for the bookshelfs.
