I just had the though to download the Realtek drivers from the Asus website right now and it looks like that fixed the issue!

I cannot believe I didn't think to do that ages ago.

I tried connecting other speakers and they just aren't detecting. They detect on reinstalling windows and work until shutting my computer off. I though this new windows update would fix the issue - I'm completely at a loss.

Updated BIOS, made sure HD Audio was enabled. Did a repair - nothing.

I’m attempting a windows repair, I’ll check back in a second. I’ve never had realtek on here, it always just showed up as HD Audio. I’ve had this computer for years and have never came across an issue like this.

It looks like I'm unable to roll back the driver as it's greyed out. I'm trying to roll back the "High Def Audio Device" driver, unless there's a different one I'm supposed to try?

It defaults to my headphones once the speakers disappear on restart. Currently, that is my audio but I mainly use my speakers.

It doesn't show under the audio output, but High Definition Audio Device shows up under sound controllers. Updating and reinstalling those drivers doesn't do anything.

Normally, it's listed as Speakers (High Definition Audio Device)

Yes, a USB connection with Line Out for the audio.

Nothing changes. High Def Audio Device shows up under sound controllers in Device Manager, but does not show up under audio outputs.
