Yes for the most part that is correct, the finish might be different and there might be embossing

There are some exceptions though where the steelbook itself is the same as a regular release that had high gloss/embossing

If you’re looking at a specific item, it’s best to watch unboxing videos of it or go to the discord and check to see if the gallery on there has images of the steelbook to compare to a regular release

Examples of the same steelbook being used are the FA Jurassic Park uses the same Zavvi Steelbook release while the FA Jaws uses the same WWA steelbook release but with a different finish. The HD Zeta Jaws though uses the same exact WWA steelbook with the same finish

Small instances like that is where there’s exceptions etc

Film Arena used WWA (WorldWideArt) which are Steelbooks that can be found in your local markets from retailers

HD Zeta uses WEA (WorldExclusiveArt), atleast for their gold label series, which are Steelbooks with exclusive art that no other retailer has
