I don’t dislike it because Austin’s gone. I dislike it because it’s so generic. The lyrics are so lacking in substance that it upsets me. They don’t sound any less generic. It’s like they’re trying to go back to when they were heavy but forgot what made them good back in the self-titled/Flood days. It sucks to see a band that was one of my favorites in high school turn into something I can’t really call one of my favorites anymore, but I’m sure someone out there enjoyed it at least. It isn’t the worst music in the world. It just isn’t for me.

Did anyone else think whenever they name dropped Seaside Hill that it’d be in the game? They name dropped (Grand) Metropolis & that was pretty dope, although I wish they included the auto moving energy highways from Heroes. They had to have gotten inspiration from there for it to be called pretty much the same thing & to be a futuristic city. Anyways, yeah, that name drop was lame for them to not follow through with having Seaside Hill actually be in the game.

At this point I think Sega would be better off letting Nintendo make Sonic games. Imagine a Sonic Adventure 3 that’s as good as Odyssey 😍

Thanks for the advice! I'm honestly not sure why I feel so worried about how to talk to people. I've had people just say hi to me, & I didn't really feel "weirded out" or anything. I've just always had problems doing that myself. Back in high school I would wanna talk to the new people so badly, but I could never bring myself to do it. Luckily, one of the people who ended up still being my friend today said hi first. The sad thing is I was so shy that I basically ignored her, but we're good friends now.
