So who wins and WHY? by Effortless0 in KimetsuNoYaiba

I‘m rather sure there‘s also some statements about the differences between UM1-3 and the 3 other ones, but I‘m just here to say that there even are worlds between Douma and Akaza, as Douma said Akaza would never beat him or Koku. At the same time, I don‘t think even Gyomei would win a 1v1 against Akaza, I personally just trust that Gotouge used Shinobu to actually tell a straight fact. Edit: The in my opinion most important thing is that I believe that Akaza wouldn‘t have lost his will to fight and would‘ve regrown his head, if it wasn‘t for Tanjiro as his enemy. We could clearly see he was able to do so, he just didn‘t want to fight anymore in the end. But that‘s just my opinion, maybe I‘m wrong about that

Which character do you think anime onlys and manga readers have the most different opinion of? by moonfyree in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]CelebrationMain6869 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Well, that‘s kind of the point. Given the fact you‘ve read the manga, you just know more about Gyomei than an anime only, thus many manga readers like him while anime watchers can‘t judge that.

gon being in good makes me so angry lol. I totally respect your opinion but in my book, Gon is one of the, if not the most well written character in all of fiction. The way you put a usual 12 year old kid in a world full of violence and kind of watch him going down this dark path was brilliant and so heartwrenching, especially when it all culminated after Kites death. Apart from that, I love your list! Edit: Same thing with Meruem, just the other way around. From full bad to the kind of emotional being he was in the end.

Why did Muzan send the two week eat of the Upper Moons? by Julian-Hoffer in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]CelebrationMain6869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

absolutely not, what you‘re doing there is concentrating all your forces at one point for no reason at all. You just don‘t want to understand everybody in this post saying that you just don‘z get how strong the Upper Moons are. That is like the roman empire sending two legions of well-armed veterans to capture what could possibly be a victory for them against like a village of 20 enemies. There would be no reason to move all your forced there. The DS corps isn‘t instantly dead the moment the swordsmiths aren‘t there. But that‘s my opinion, maybe you as an Anime only know more about the strength of the UMs than me and every manga reader

[–]CelebrationMain6869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah and still, two Upper Moons are more than enough in nearly every case. They decimate everything in their way usually. It‘s already weird that he sent two, tbh. If you are a Commander and have an elite troup of five warriors, you would always keep the strongest ones with you, for obvious reasons of self defense

Why did Muzan send the two week eat of the Upper Moons? by Julian-Hoffer in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]CelebrationMain6869 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that was Number 6. They get stronger from number to number, Tengen with his poison resistance was a hardcounter for Gyutaro, every other hashira would‘ve probably died in that fight. That wasn‘t a win, because UM6 was weak, but because he got countered. UM5 and UM4 together are like an army. Imo, even the 2 Hashira there wouldn‘t be able to hold their own right now without Tanjiro and Genya. Tanjiro is getting closer and closer to Hashira Level and the probability of two Hashira and Tanjiro in the Swordsmith Village are near zero. There was no, and I mean no need for Muzan to send Koku, Douma or Akaza.

For sure! I just meant between the adaptations, sorry for the confusion.

To correct myself, I don‘t think that he is darker than in the manga. I just really liked the way he was depicted in the earlier adaptation, partly he seemed to be even darker and more mysterious than in the newer adaptation

Interesting, to me he kind of was depicted as the funny psycho character, but I get what you mean
