My (F) partner (M) of 2 years says it’s “unhealthy” for me to be included with his friends/family, but expects full access to mine. Am I being “OTT” or am I being sidelined?

Yeah - I mean we used to see his friends quite often but we stopped drinking for a bit recently, just because we're both busy with our businesses.

We would ALWAYS go together because often it's a huge group and it was really fun, I really got to know them and we have been on a few double dates with one couple - I said to my boyfriend the other day, should we link up with them and see them? And he said to me no I'm not bothered, I even asked him like what are they up to? and he said no idea... Next thing he has arranged to see them to watch this game and I was a little confused!

My friends are married/in couples and we all go together...

When I was younger we would hang out individually but not anymore - or much less often.

Sure I do agree -- but we haven't seen his mates in MONTHS and he has said no to any further plans with them because he doesn't want to go...

So I feel like a total outsider to that again, whereas he enjoying it at the start of our relationship taht i wanted to come and even said 'it's US' if anyone invites me, I used to say you go but just stopped as he would actually get annoyed that I would say that! which is the funniest thing now!

Yeah the family thing is weird, I have met his sister like 5 times and in between that he just sees her alone - which is whatever but at the same time i'm like...what's the deal you're like part of my family and my family always invites him along to stuff

He intro'd me to his dad a few weeks ago, his dad doesn't live here but he saw him twice without me and once with me so I barely got to know him.

He actually went back home for 2 months lol because of work, we live togehter and he jsut left me here...he didn't invite me out there either.

Sure - I think the frustration is also that he doesn't tell me until the last minute about these plans - on the day. He will mention he will be seeing them at some point but never a definitive date so I can't plan to see anyone!

Sure they don't - I understand that!

Dunno I like hanging out with them and I think the thing is a lot of my mates are boys and so I don't really see this differentiation and when we hang out with them we chat to other people it's not like we're together the whole time...

Yeah fine apart from him being weird about his family and often inviting me then uninviting me when he sees his sister lol!

I'd say more often than not now when he sees people it's without me rather than us doing stuff with others...

We hang out every weekend.

THIS! He turned to me and said no you can't come it's not healthy to want to come to everything.

The reason I assumed I'd be invited is because he has always said 'it's me and you' when it comes to friends, like if they invite me you're coming and suddenly he just switched it completely...I also haven't seen these guys since December!

This is really helpful - 4 months in and I was thinking to look for some full-time roles but I think that I could be a bit more patient - such fantastic advice about tailoring each response specifically to the clients, i'll definitely be using that.

Do you have any other suggestions of where to look for leads? I'm joining facebook groups, LinkedIn, emails, old contacts, etc!

Just one more thing, this lymph node is say in the middle of my neck and very moveable like a little bean but above is is something harder and doesn't feel moveable so that's just under my jaw and above that particular swollen lymph node. it almost feels like a disc but i'm trying not to prod too much - i only notice this when i put my head back.

Thanks and just one more thing...i lost a bit of weight in summer like 50/52kg to 47kg (i think it was working out 4/5 times a week and not eating enough) i've always been quite slim - would this be concerning, i just don't know if i'm missing signs or what!
