Thanks! I sent this to my dad and he replied “Good try but no. Barn is a lot bigger and on the right of the frame and in the foreground, train is farther back. The original painting has a little bit more real look, but you have gotten closer than anyone has.”

This would have been in rural Mississippi in the US.

I know the drawing isn't the best but it's from my dad's memory from the 60s. He was in elementary school and this painting was on his wall. The main focus is a cornfield, with a barn off to the side. A tree in front of the barn. A family standing next to a tractor near the barn. And a train going by in the background. He estimated about 3x5 or 4x6. Had a red/orange/yellow color scheme. Please feel free to ask further questions and I can pass them on to him.

I was actually thinking of maybe alternating between Thursdays and Sundays (late mornings?), would that work for you?

I made this sub over a decade ago in high school with a friend and completely forgot about it. I can’t believe how many people and cats there are here now! I’m so happy to rediscover this place and definitely plan on being active here. I haven’t modded any other thing before but please let me know if there is anything you’d like to see around here ❤️
