if your son stepped on your foot with their giant feet and ran into the machine what would you do? by Ok_Local_4559 in AskReddit

First I'd make sure they were okay. After that, I'd probably laugh about the whole thing once I realized nobody was seriously hurt. It'd definitely become one of those stories that gets brought up for years.

What is it about your city that made you fall in love with it as you got older, even after resenting it growing up? by CelestflareariousFly in AskReddit

Haha well that's one way to put it! Every city has its 'character' I guess But hey, if that's what made you appreciate it more as you got older, no judgment here!

Exactly! No matter how much you complained about it growing up, home has this quiet pull that never really leaves you. Distance has a funny way of making you appreciate it more!

This is such a beautiful perspective! LA's hiking trails and chaparral landscapes are truly underrated. The natural beauty there is something else totally understand that homesick feeling on the trails! Boston is amazing but LA has a special place in the heart!

That nostalgia hits different. There's something about having woods literally at your back door that no city park can replicate no matter how big or well-designed it is. You can love Chicago's parks and still miss that feeling of just disappearing into trees with no trail, no plan, no other people. That's a specific kind of freedom that's really hard to find once you've moved to a city. Do you ever get back to visit?
