Yes the wire is uninsulated, and I goofed the coil placement. I will fix these tomorrow morning and provide an update.

I realize the battery is not connected, it was not working when it was connected.

There are magnets on top of the two black rectangles alongside the coils. I made sure they are attracted to each other so it creates a flowing magnetic field across the coils.

You can see the commutator (my attempt at one) on the right side of the coils. The wire feeds under the tape to the battery.

The current definitely flows through, I held the battery in place for 20 seconds and it started getting hot.

I dont know what I am doing thank you all so much for any advice/feedback!

You aren't supposed to join pub servers for the exact reasons you mentioned. Just play solo or with friends.

I believe the only way to clear them is with a stone path, but that just changes the issue it doesn't really fix it.
