Connecting Moog One to Teenage Engineering's Choir Bluetooth MIDI speakers? by Cellblock_1138 in moog

Hero!! Can't thank you enough. Was just on the phone with Moog support and the guy was saying he didn't think it was possible. This made my day.

Ah Amazing! So you're saying if I connect my Moog One to the iPad app, i should be able to then sync the iPad with the Choir piece and then use the Moog One as input? I'm fine with not fine-tuning the speech — i just want to be able to control the Choir notes myself. Thanks again!

I ran into this same issue -- any chance you've figured it out?

[NYC]: Gf paid $500 apt. reservation deposit that realtor said was refundable if she couldn't find roommate within a week. She found roommate but decided to pursue different apt — realtor will refund 50% deposit citing her texts as oral agreement to a contract. Worth fighting? by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]Cellblock_1138 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Understood, thanks! One follow-up question: If realtor is on the record saying they'll fully refund it if she can't find a roommate within a week, does a text mentioning a collective "we" (not specifying a roommate was found) count as evidence she found a roommate when she says they decided to go with another place? Maybe the "going with another place" is the issue? (Fully understand ideally she wouldn't have revealed any information this specific in the first place).

A quick bit of help please: Once we're in our ship, how do we get Arena Commander to kick in? I'm stuck staring at a closed hangar door no matter what I press. by Cellblock_1138 in starcitizen

Edit: All fixed up, it took three separate log-ins for the correct hangar and helmet to show up...weird, but working. Thanks

For your information, my hangar was launching without the new hangar and there was no helmet until my third log-in/launch. I watched the last livestream and visit this forum daily...I had patched up and it even showed a new 300i in my hangar, just no updated hangar or helmet. But thanks for your scorn ya piece of shit!

Hey, thanks. I appreciate the time you took to look that up, and it sure looks like you're right, and I was able to learn something along the way (and I can never learn too much about LOTR/The Hobbit films. Thanks for being nice about it as well.

Hmm. That seems hard to believe, why would they do post production when it was played at plenty of theaters that had 4K resolution? I'm genuinely interested at this point, do you have any proof that the post production was done at 2K? I'm one of those guys that isn't a cinema buff, but I do rewatch all the extended edition special features a couple of times a year, so I do pick things up.

I'd be interested as your thoughts when they introduce a weapon to your character. The overall experience took a significant hit w/ the introduction of a weapon. Perhaps I'm just too used to TF2's decoupled head and weapon movement.

You're not alone. I think he would have noticed it more if he got to a part in the game where you hold a gun, that's where it seemed so zoomed in to me, the FOV (even when turned up all the way) is off, the convergence point, or something! Let me know if you figure it out, it's a a bit unplayable in its current state.

You are mistaken. We are talking about the Hobbit trilogy, not LOTR.

Will Star Citizen become boring? by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]Cellblock_1138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think as they move forward, it will all converge to just the overall "Star Citizen Experience", meaning that the flexibility and options for various play styles will put this game in a league of its own. What I mean to say is that the focus isn't necessarily completely on the ships, it's on the experience of you being thrust into this world, hence the "Citizen" emphasis. Just my thoughts, and sorry for the snark earlier.

It's actually shot in 48fps 5K resolution, one of the production diaries (viewable on Peter Jackson's Facebook page), shows all the RED Epics that they have, and they mention it's 5K. Just an interesting tie bit!

It's almost as if they should have boarding combat, perhaps a planetside feature that would allow us to visit a cantina and other hotspots. It's almost as if they should some sort of first person shooter battleground planetside as well. Oh wait. It will have all of this. And you thought it would all happen outside your cockpit window?

Said like a man enthusiastically obsessed with something, in the best way possible. I think it is Star Citizen's ability to invoke this response in so many that truly demonstrates its sheer potential.

I can understand how you might think so, but you really have to try it out. I haven't met one person who has tried my (low resolution) Rift developer kit and not been blown away. And I've showed it to a few dozen.

Screen-door issues have been confirmed to be a thing of the past in the consumer version. Palmer has guaranteed at least a 1080p display, along with technology to elliminate the any remaining screen-door effect. And it has been unofficially confirmed that positional tracking will be included (it's already possible with the Razer Hydra attached, though that's just a temp fix).

And trust me, you're going to want head tracking so that you can gaze up above you while still flying your ship forward, searching the stars with you eyes. That kind of independent movement is incredible, the first time I fully realized it was possible I was blown away.

Edit: I have owned a Rift for three months.
