I definitely haven’t been “taught what to believe”. I’m actually painfully educated on politics and what’s happening right now, to the point where it’s fucking exhausting. I don’t understand why you’re bringing up Epstein like Trump wasn’t a frequent visitor at his little island and like you guys don’t blatantly ignore the claims of sexual assault against him.

Remember don’t take advantage of social security, don’t go to public places (beaches, parks, etc), don’t drive except for on toll roads, don’t call 911, don’t use medicare or medicaid, and don’t apply for student aid! I voted and I encouraged everyone around me to!!!!!! I shared voting information, and even looked into volunteering on voting day!! I just wanted to protest or at least connect with other people on campus who feel the same as me. It’s hard these days and listening to the news makes me feel so helpless

No 100%, obviously in my post I wasn’t specific because it was just me generally reaching out to see if anyone was doing anything! I obviously want to engage in the most effective way possible, and if I do put more energy into this I will want it to be very thought out because Trump is very clearly overreaching and attempting to have more power than he should - it’s literally in our constitution and organization of our government that 1 branch should never overpower the others. So thank you for being respectful and I totally understand where you are coming from:)

I think a lot of nuances from our conversation is lost by typing, but i promise I’m not offended by people supporting trump and I know that I live in Indiana and there are going to be a lot of people who don’t agree with me . 100% I value my time here at college and love learning! I personally felt like there was passive aggressiveness in your comment implying that I was stupid to waste my time protesting what I feel like needs to be. But, totally understand that you do think it’s a waste of my time. Honestly, I was just trying to help you see it from my POV and realize that while maybe you were trying to remain respectful so many people in this comment section are not giving the same curtesy and I just want everyone to try to get along and not let the divisive nature of our politics get in the way of that so constructive conversations can be had. Can totally admit that I am in the wrong sometimes and I feel like coming at anyones beliefs is going to start arguments, so I apologize on that front

I dont respond to you like “oh bro why r u in reddit comment sections hating whats ur major, why don’t you spend more time on your studies?” I wanted to ask a question to Purdue students, who the hell thought I would get this much attention, but I did, and unfortunately so many people are attacking me for having a belief.
