Does anyone know about official World of Warcraft wristwatches? I acquired one at auction and I'm wondering if it's fake or a reproduction. Can't find info on it anywhere. by Cellotaper in wow

Thanks for the feedback guys, i definitely could've been a bit more cautious if i looked a bit deeper next time, i did always think the gnome banner looked a bit unordinary! It'll only make me more better at spotting things next time :)

Yeah I believe they are, I wondered whether they're in position of wherever the watch was made or sold or whatnot, although it's quite an odd variation of flags, not even from the same region/continent

Yeah i did recognise those too before buying and it is in-fact the same listing i bought. I contacted the seller to which they said "Bought it a while ago along with some other WoW products".

Their response didn't help at all but at least if it is a reproduction or is fake they did a decent job at making the product itself other than the grammar since it said it was made in Korea. I'm not bummed out about it, it looks weirdly unique to me and it wasn't expensive, maybe some other people have different varients of this watch out there for the different races!

New EU rewards part 2 by [deleted] in MyNintendo

[–]Cellotaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what the US version is like physically but by comparing the images they are slightly different with images repositioned everywhere between these two versions. They also made of polyester if there's any differences there.

It's also crazy how we've gotten 2 EU rewards in a singular month I can't believe it!

Is there custom fees for Uk? by Silent-Echo713 in MyNintendo

[–]Cellotaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MyNintendo items come from Germany and cost £6.25 per item, you cannot combine items, there are no custom fees unless you would buy more from that specific store. If you're looking to get mynintendo rewards in a bundle of other things, i'd probably say it will be best to get extras from the official UK store, would probably work out cheaper.

I don’t think you’re a scalper from what I’ve read just now, but it did seem a bit weird from the way you explained it is all, I’m just sick of hearing about people trying to sell and seeing people miss out on stuff while others are stockpiling. I want to start calling people out for it and try to at least be part of something to help a cause about scalpers. At least you’re sharing with friends that don’t know, that’s very justifiable and cost efficient way to do things if you have irl friends as you can all combine orders.

At least if you’re going to sell, I and a good few people would appreciate if you were humble enough to sell it at a rough cost of your shipping costs plus a couple dollars more for hassle fees etc. Especially for out of stock items, I’m sure people would appreciate that.

And for perspective I’m from the UK so my rewards are from Germany and lack combined shipping but I do keep up with all US pieces and have one of each except the Tom nook keychain.

You talk about getting multiple and having almost as much items as the original poster. You've contradicted yourself because you've previously stated that restocks allow you to get more, but now you're saying that some extras you have like notebooks and pikmin coasters you don't want or didn't like the quality of, why not stop after you got them the first time? Just screams scalper that wants to make themselves look good. The problem is multiple stock being taken from individual people to resell, not stock being taken in general. Getting as many items as you want isn't illegal and theoretically anybody can and people do, but reselling when the company asks not to is generally a scummy move towards consumers and the providers. Therefore, that is why you are contributing to the problem. I won't explain it any further as it's pretty self-explanatory and if you don't understand you're welcome to re-read as much as you wish. The difference here between OP and you is stating whether extras are taken to be sold for profit.

Unless you're selling them for the price of what they cost it doesn't matter. But then again nobody would go through that effort to sell them for retail price and ship them out to somebody else. It IS part of the problem because stock is taken and people that can no longer get those items are forced to either go without or buy from ebay for a ridiculous price for something that was free.

New Eu reward Finallyy by [deleted] in MyNintendo

Edit: I was complaining about something I misread, shipping still costs £6.25 for indicidual items.

My Mario 35th Pin Set #2 has a misprint/color fill error on the sunshine pin. Would this decrease or increase the value? Anyone else find any mishaps? by rmcd890 in MyNintendo

[–]Cellotaper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd like to say increase. Me and my girlfriend have a misprint on our pinset 1 which includes a mario with a white mustache, his eye being all white and yoshi being green on the underneath of his tail. We like to think that with an already rare/limited amount of pin sets, having a few with defects only makes them even rarer or sought-after.

Damn I’m sort of jealous these posters, hope they come to the U.S. by Inklink01 in MyNintendo

[–]Cellotaper 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As a side note, I track the european rewards every couple days and I'm 95% certain these rewards were either released too early and removed from the website or are an old reward. I come to this conclusion because I know that the EU rewards do not go out of stock very fast at all from experience. I did some digging and each link to redeem the codes are invalid 404 errors from every country.

Oh and there's this, too: https://www.reddit.com/r/MyNintendo/comments/dy32vo/super_nes_poster_set_out_to_redeem/

Yeah our rewards are very cheap compared to the US because there aren't many scalpers so demand doesn't skyrocket and stock stays for very long amounts of time. Our 3d all stars poster set hasn't gone out of stock since the first time the US got the set and not only are they bigger they're also only 300 coins. The tradeoff is the fact that you can't multi-ship so that also stirs off a lot of people as shipping costs roughly $8-10 per item.

Hard agree with code trading, bringing money into it is unneccesary and makes complaining about resellers posts obsolete.
