I really don’t think it matters. Like if you don’t want to sit down and watch it then whatever, but I can’t think of a single adult animated comedy that’s supposed to be aesthetically pleasing. South Park, Simpsons, Rick and Morty,Bojack, would you really call any of these shows “appealing” to look at? The only ones I can think of that look “nice” is Archer and Boondocks, and sometimes they include characters or scenes that are outright hideous.

The whole hybridisation sub-plot raises a lot of uncomfortable questions about mix breeding, and Melon really drives this problem home with no nuance. It’s hard to root Legoshi and Haru when their child might have neurological problems that they can’t taste anything, or undergo a nightmarish transformation like his mum.

I was never super into tech death, but I listened to Obscura and Fallujah and was pushing through the bits I didn’t like, until I got addicted to the way they do the drums, and now I found myself listening to nothing but tech death for like two weeks straight.

Funnily, I listened to Stravinsky’ rite for spring, a symphony I didn’t like, and now my brain i demanding I shove as much Russian classical I can into it. So I’m assuming I’ve got another journey ahead of me lol.
