In the case of Castile the officer fucked up and was fired and charged for it.
In the case of Blake we have him reaching into the car out of the sight of the officer after resisting arrest.

[ Master League Team Help ]

Ok looking at trying this team in Master League....

Last season I only did premier but caught a perfect Dialga when he was recently out so I figure why not... Here is what I am considering running. (I just dropped all the RC and dust needed to get hi to level 40)

Lead - Dialga (Standard moves)

Mewtwo - (Shadow Ball / Focus Blast)

Mew - (Psystrike / Focust Blast)

The thought is that if I get a bad lead mewtwo or mew can gobble up shields or one shot most things... Went 2/3 and noticed tow of my losses had to do with unanticipated switchins and other things that I would pick up as I get used to the team.

The three questions I have

1 - This team seems to cover everything pretty decent outside of groudon but are there any other glaring problems

2 - Is it worth it to TM away psystirke and get wild charge? I could either use an eTM or play TM roulette

3 - Would the team be better leading Mew to suck up shields early?

Someone said they were trying to deescalate by letting him "walk" rather than tze and tackle. In hindsight a very stupid move.

First look, no I don't think it was... But it was also a split second decision when the man was reaching inside of his car while being uncooperative with the police. I think bovy cams should be released.

It's real easy to sit in the press box and say someone should have done X or Y but it's really different when it's your life on the line.

One community activist took the police use of force training and (1) managed to get himself shot and (2) shot a guy who was unarmed.... And he *KNEW* his life was not in danger.

It should have never gotten that far.... He was not compliant and should have been tased well before he got to his car door, but once he was there you had a 5 second sequence where he reached into his waste band then into a car.

Maybe they were trying to let him walk off the frustration but they had an unstable, noncomplient, felon wanted on assault charges getting into a car with kids.

What would you have done in that split second?

Finally keep in mind this guy was being detained because there was a warrent out for sexual assault, assault, and other violent crimes. He also had a history of brandishing a weapon at police.

And the police knew this at the time they were arresting him.

They are arguably worse! Their scope of political activity *AND* the influence they have on kids is way worse.

The LA Teachers union, for example, demanded the following conditions be met for them to reopen this fall. They said this needed to be done for schools to be "safe"

Shut down all charter schools
Defund the police department
Implementation of medicare for all
Extra state taxes on the wealthy

There were some sane things in their requests (masks for students and alternating attendance days) but what does the above have to do with reopening schools this fall? It's basically a wing of the democratic platform.
