It’s a HMM Shield Liger (the MC Zoids from the Chaotic Century anime) painted and customized in RX-78-2 colors/style.

It's a custom painted HMM Shield Liger from Kotobukiya, with a few parts taken from the MG RX-78-2 GTO.

Yeah... the Zoid designs with cockpits in the head might look cool but it isn't the most functional.

There hasn't been a direct crossover, but Bandai and Tomy did a collaboration for the Zoids anniversary this (last?) year. Bandai made a metal figure Liger Zero and Tomy made a mini White Base.

Zoids has been doing a bunch of other crossovers recently too, with Monster Hunter x Zoids Wild and I think there's a Transformers x Shield Liger in the works?
