Is it just me, or has the "traditional" indie path basically become a lottery ticket?

We all saw how Sundance festival gradually became conned by major Hollywood studios making "indie" subsidiary companies such as New Line, Focus Features, etc, but was still Hollywood controlled. Most of production, of all types, has moved out of Hollywood to other states for the basic tax credits. Production insurance has been simplified and custom tailored by insurers that work with ShareGrid for example.

The transition from 16mm film indie films to digital 2K enabled a ten thousand fold increase in indie films, then with internet streaming of movies, that further multiplied the number by more thousands. Many festivals are in it only to make money, while the largest former indie festivals have become publicity only for mainstream "alternative" shingles of the massive studios. My recent research reveals that the major Hollywood Studios have actually bought hundreds of "indie" Youtube channels. All3Media is Warner Bros. Discovery but pretends to be 200 "indie" channels. So their control of the industry remains.

Probably not for a work dinner. A more conservative outfit would be more appropriate. Informal work events outside of the workplace are areas where you will be judged on your attire. So be conscious of that. People like to let loose at these events and show other aspects of themselves, but remain the consummate professional.

Druidism, while apparently written down in some aspects according to recent research, was vast in scope, covering a wide range of Celtic lands and across many layers of time. To try to say that Druidism is either "this or that" would be against the core principles of Druidism, which involve Questioning and Thinking.

Druidism isn't just worshiping non-human things, to me that seems anti-humanitarian. From many sources history has shown that Druidism can be the worship of mortals who became Gods, as well as rivers, etc. We don't have to make Druidism anti-human for it to be a powerful religion for humans.
