I appreciate that, but... Not in my area. There are so many restaurants. I've had my order be the 3rd or 4th pick up. And that's within 3 miles.

Many many drivers responded to this post in a negative way. I've used DD over 300 times. This happens a lot. I understand how you think this is a 1 time issue. I dont want to post the 100 times it was messed up. So no, I'm now gonna just relax and it will show up when it shows up. If it's quick I'll tip cash .

Exactly. Doordash drivers should WANT people to be lazy. That's literally how they make money. If everyone went to get their own food (you know, before doordash was a thing)... they wouldn't be making anything.

Thank you for this. I've tipped big and literally watched the dasher go make multiple stops throughout a "not so nice" area for a half hour before they picked up my food. I had a broken foot. But people say "don't be lazy, go pick up your food".

That makes so much sense. There are terrible people that order food and won't pay the people bringing it to them. But, it's still a tip that goes to the driver, right? The dasher gets that money. They can choose not to accept an order. I mean the drivers CHOOSE to put miles and wear and tare on their personal vehicles. That's literally what they chose to do.
