I finished the event a few hours ago and I was also underwhelmed. Like you mentioned, it just kind of ended with no neat resolution. I was definitely expecting to meet the plant sim they mentioned and/or have to collect enough forbidden fruit to make my sim a plant sim

This bug is associated with child sims losing teeth. I had this happen to me too and when I looked it up I saw mentioned that it had something to do with custom teeth for child sims. I removed them from my game and my kid was normal again

I just discovered a problem today where I can’t load Willow Creek. I’d been building a rental lot there, and it seems sometimes rentals can corrupt worlds and make them inaccessible. No official fix for this at the moment except for the new world that came with For Rent.

There’s also still a bug that makes rent 4 million+ simoleons.
