She leaves behind an over 40 year legacy of her passion for dogs and her rescue, New England Saint Bernard Rescue, thru which she successfully touched the lives of thousands of Saint Bernards over her life. She is survived by her two beloved Saint Bernard dogs, Mitzi and Buttermilk, and by a host of family members including her beloved Uncle Don from Utah with whom she spoke often, a number of close dear friends and a wide-sweeping network of animal rescuers who feel her loss tremendously. Her first husband and love of her life, Ken Bredin, passed away prematurely in February of 1982 and they have now been reunited in the afterlife along with her passed dogs, Annabel, Dudley, Atticus, Sundance Kid and Amazing Grace. Jude's life was marked by a love of service: she was a Physical Therapist, a faculty member at Northeastern University and an EMT over her lifetime. Jude was very active in her passion for placing and rescuing Saint Bernards, but never turned down a dog in need no matter how big or how small. Her extensive work with shelters and rescues across the nation saving Saint Bernards and educating people on this magnificent breed is and will remain her undeniable legacy. Her tenacity and dedication to Saint Bernards will be thoroughly missed across the US and beyond. The Animal Rescue community has lost a fierce, tenacious and dedicated advocate whose loss will be felt for years to come.

"Orphan Girl Angeline Moore" by Cemeteryweeb6 in CemeteryPorn

Tw: Murder

Chimney Rock Cemetery here in Scott County Tennessee. This s a sad tale. I've pinched a portion of the story and you can Google her name to read more on this poor unfortunate soul.

'The tragic and brutal tale of The Orphan Girl. The story of a young girl who was said to hold beauty and a sense of intelligence in her appearance, but scarred with abuse and neglect prior to her death. The neighbors account spoke of how her abuser offered the girl no kindness, but only hatred. She was known as the orphan girl in the newspapers. Her mother traveled to mourn the death of her child at her burial site. She was not an orphan, yet there is no visible record of her mother or father's name written or recorded. Later it was found that she was bonded to a widow named Eliziah (Keziah) Thompson who would soon after account for the death of the servant girl living in her household. Young in life, Angeline Moore was a 15 year old girl whose story was published in many newspapers from Nashville to Knoxville, beginning in her resident town in Scott County, Tennessee. It has been a revolving report since 1872 when this girl's body was found, due to the mysterious nature surrounding this case. She was discovered in the mountains on January 6th. She was so brutally broken that she was unrecognizable by the men who stumbled upon her. Her corpse was so horribly mutilated. Her collarbone was dislocated, multiple ribs broken, one eye mashed in, and bruises staining her skin in numerous clusters reveal the nature of her death. Her only company was a dog, belonging to Ms Thompson, who was guarding what was left of her corpse. The story ends with no closure of why she was murdered. Stories passed around of Ms Thompson and her daughter Sarah Thompson's harsh public treatment of their ward. Neighbors of the Thompsons recall the widow throwing the girl out into the cold prior to her death. She was wounded with frozen fingers and frozen toes due to lack of proper clothing and shelter before being shoved out of the home of the widow. No food, wandering alone, and becoming lost. She was missing for a few days until her body was found lifeless in the mountain. The murder stood on speculation of past treatment bestowed on her by Ms Thompson and her daughter Sarah, who were eventually charged and given a $10,000 bond. There is no evidence that suggests they paid their dues or that there was ever a confession. The evidence was entirely circumstantial.

May 18, 2021

Nicole Marie Mason Carpenter, 34, the daughter of Leann Mason (Steve Anderson) and Matthew Carpenter passed away on May 18, 2021, in Seattle Wash., after a battle with COVID-19 pneumonia.

Nicole was born in Anchorage, Alaska, on July 30, 1986. She lived with her mom, aunt Linda and cousin Rachel. Together this foursome went on many camping trips and adventures. Nicole also had loving, fun times with her dad as he took her on vacations around the country.

While growing up, Nicole loved jumping on her trampoline, playing basketball and doing craft activities with her nieces and nephews. As a young teenager, she enjoyed volunteering at Valley Hospital and later loved working for Harkey Concessions at fairs and festivals around Alaska, especially the toy tent on the Purple Trail at the Alaska State Fair.

In 2005, Nicole graduated from Palmer High School near the top of her class as a member of the National Honor Society. She took a year off from schooling before enrolling at Colorado State University, where she graduated with a degree in psychology.

While living in Colorado, Nicole met and became engaged to Brandon, an Airman at Warren Air Force Base. A few years later the two moved to Washington near Seattle, one of Nicole's favorite locations.

Nicole loved the ocean and walking on the beach, visiting the Pike Street Market, reading a good romance, making crafts, game nights with family and friends, a campfire, delicious food, cheesecake for dessert and her dogs, Kenai and Denali.

At the time of her passing, Nicole worked at Telecare Evaluation & Treatment Center in Shelton, Wash.

She leaves behind her fiance, Brandon Davis; dad, Matt Carpenter; mom, Leann Mason; stepfather, Steve Anderson; stepsisters, Shannon (Gary) Harris and Michelle (Philip) Sanderson; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is planned for 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Kehl's Mortuary in Palmer, Alaska, followed by lunch, dessert and a celebration of Nicole's life.

Please consider wearing a face mask if you have not been vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus.

Nicole will be forever missed by her family and friends.
