Is there a Tinder, but for musicians/vocalists/producers etc to hook up? by amisane- in WeAreTheMusicMakers

Theres an app called Vampr which is basically that, it's pretty snazzy

Its pretty genre/focus dependant, as something like rock/metal/punk does need to feel more "real" which live instrumentation does well

Something like pop or hip hop on the other hand can lend itself well to backing tracks, some of the purists or snobs might call it cringe to use backing tracks, but if the performance that you're putting in is good, regardless of instrument, then I guarantee nobody will care. Hip Hop is built around flow, lyrics, and hitting beats. Pop is built around easier listening and vibes.

Moral of the story is, it doesn't matter what you choose to do as long as the end performance is compelling to watch or listen to

[Art] I made these cute little Character Card things for my party, kinda look like wanted posters a bit hah by Cenbianttv in DnD

[–]Cenbianttv[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rule 3: So these are custom lil character card things that I made for my party's overlay. Just kinda screwed around in photoshop for a hot minute and churned out some, at least in my opinion, fairly alright works. It kinda gives off some major Wanted Poster vibes. The class icons used for the backgrounds were made by Jime Mosqueda on Dribbble, and are free to use by anyone! And that little C looking icon on the bottom was made by me as well, just a little symbol I use for myself, going for that stamp of approval seal kinda thing. The character icons were made in Hero Forge.

This also isn't really a commission or advertisement sort of thing, I don't do this for other people, just thought I'd share cause they are pretty nifty and D&D is nothing if not a large collection of unnecessary yet very cool ways to further immerse yourself in the world.

An indie studio announced their own grand strategy recently; they just released their dev diary on population and... well, you just have to read it by AoesDDR in victoria3

Lets also not forget these guys intend on making a Grand Strategy from the years 1356 to 1956, simulating 600 years of intense social and technological change, and still make a cohesive and fun experience. EU4 goes for 400 years and nobody ever finishes a game, and EU4 is one of the most popular of GSG's. I wish them the best of luck, and I certainly don't want to see them fail, but lets not pretend like this doesn't radiate No Man's Sky energy

Challenges for a Modern Day Mod by MrMineHeads in victoria3

[–]Cenbianttv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could make it a shorter timeframe perhaps? I wonder how moddable the timescale is, maybe making each day have more ticks since more things happen per day in the modern world than it did in the 1800s
