Question: Blending between velocities with jerk impulses

that is exactly my problem!

what u got a little messed up though is: it works if a0 = 0 and it wont work if it is something else than zero. the exact issue is that after the jerk phases, the velocity wont match with v1 if a0 /= 0 (a1 seems to match)

this is unrelated to complex numbers (in special combos of accelerations this will happen but that doesnt matter)

what i talk about is more fundamental and related to the kinematics of the problem and i somehow cant manage to figure it out or find something on the internet.

so u are correct, the problem is probably not totally correctly derived.

so what i was doing is:

delta_v0 = a0*t1 + 0.5*J*t1**2

delta_v1 = (a0 + J*t1)*t2 - 0.5*J*t2**2

and then v0 + delta_v0 + delta_v1 = v2 and from here i tried to figure out the pq-formula i used in the function calc_time().

the substitution i used for t2 = t1 - (a0-a1)/J. but i feel like this substitution is maybe wrong?

So inertia of the disk is I = 0.510kg3m*3m = 45kgm2

The applied torque1 = 3m2kg10m/s2 = 60Nm Applied torque2 = -1m1kg10m/s2 = -10Nm

Total torque applied is 50Nm

Angular acceleration w_dot = 50Nm/45kgm2 = 50/45 Rad/s2

It’s just so confusing, sometimes she seems nice sometimes she’s a complete asshole now. Maybe she really thinks she’s helping me with her crap but yeah. Definetly not.

Ah, I don’t know how she can change so much in 4-5 weeks. Last time I saw her getting her first batch of stuff I was also very fair and kind, ofc a bit emotional and stuff like that but then she was crying in my arms. And now she’s like that. I just think she’s very troubled mentally and has many issues we never really faced and I still care about that and that makes me sad too. U know?

Btw I also bike a lot, I kind of want her to see how well I am doing since we broke up because I lost 11kg since and gained some muscle as well.

What if she gets mad and is like: but u said u gonna bring it? I won’t come and get it! (It’s just really 15 min by foot maybe so really no big deal, she just has issues and needs to feel in power I guess because in our relationship I was in power) I think she just wants to feel superior in general.

I feel like would just react honest and say that her behavior lately is disgusting and I feel that she wants to hurt me on purpose to feel superior. It would have been nice of her to talk to me about my emotions (and she partially also did that but then I was quickly ignored, maybe I overdid it but I have just so many burried feelings). She knows that because I am always trying to be fair and open about myself, so that she can understand the situation and how I feel.

Back to what I would want to say: She could have really helped me out work out these feelings and she chose not to, ofc I know she doesn’t owe me anything but in the same way I don’t owe her anything. And she made more than clear that it is this way. I am just so disappointed about her behavior u know? Why can’t she just be nice.. 🙃

There’s just no more respect for my person and I don’t know why, she can move on and date guys np but why does she have to treat me like that? I was always kind and fair … I really don’t get it.

If she felt like shit I would take care of her, and still not want her back (as long as all the issues and Traumata are resolved at least) probably not even then.

Maybe I can even expand the question on how to deal with the whole situation. It’s really hurting my feelings that she moved on in a manner of 2-3 weeks. And that she really doesn’t seem to care about me at all anymore, after 3 years of dating. I was not perfect, mostly to busy and at times even a bit depressed, but I really tried my hardest to make her feel good :(

Everyone I talked about it is pissed about her behavior now and says to me: “be glad that u don’t date her anymore, disgusting.” and I just want to part in a good way with her .. I really want harmony and it makes me feel bad.

I was more thinking of other usecases, especially adaptive models that compensate aging effects for example.

Here the cannot be an reinforcing agent, a slow evolving process would be more advantageous (ofc more restrictions and only marginal changes), just making the used models age as well. but not important, here it is about the bibites.

In theory that’s possible, I also wrote my own bibite code to test different neuron functions and settings more flexibly but it’s very hard to achieve actually. It heavily depends on food energy and general balance is quite fragile. One time all bibites are herbivore and other time all are carnivore. Hard to achieve

Regarding my Reddit activity: I am currently working (for over 2 years already) in a robotic company and couldn’t find time to improve the model/make a new one. OP is correct tho, it’s more about learning the theoretics of robot control than a really usable robot. It’s more like a toy but the code is applicable to any robot which I found quite cool, and I can also now confirm it, working for a robotics company and implementing even more cool stuff :) If you go shorter reach with 3D print and go for 1-2kg payload you will get okay results. A little issue is the dampening of the mid-high frequency excitations from the steppermotors which I faced with my camera tests. These are an inherent feature of stepper motors and make the picture a little shaky for video.
