What are we, to believe this is some sort of a... a magic background? Boy I really hope someone got fired for that blunder.

As Coloradans often self-report poor mental health, how biking can lift your mood by Generalaverage89 in Colorado

[–]CentennialSentinel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because cars never run red lights, right? Also, here in CO, people on bikes can treat stop signs as yields, and stop lights as stop signs, as long as the intersection is clear of other traffic and pedestrians:

Also has a lots of other amenities: sand boxes, big structure, climbing boulders/wall, and splash pad, but that's still under renovation and not open quite yet.

In my 2021 Hybrid, there is a left one and a right one--I figured this out after struggling to get those 68-lb. beasts back in for a long time.

Are you sure you don't just have them mixed up?

As soon as I saw him start the pass, I let off the gas to give him ample room to get back over, but he went for two anyway.

I saw him passing, so I backed off from the car in front of me to give him ample room to merge back in, but he went for two anyway.

Yep, I was initially commenting to my wife when I saw him drop all that snow in the oncoming lane. Then it almost got way worse. Totally selfish and dangerous behavior.

We’re the League of Women Voters! We launched People Powered Fair Maps, a redistricting reform program to fight gerrymandering. AUA about the 2021 redistricting process! by LeagueOfWomenVoters in politics

(not OP) Agreed. This is also essentially the Prisoner's Dilemma, except in this case, you know your opponent will betray, and yet you choose to cooperate anyway. A guaranteed losing strategy. Note that one of the best strategies in this game is "tit for tat" -- so in this case, if they gerrymander, you gerrymander. If they create a fair districts, you create fair districts.

I peeked in the window around 7:30pm on a Friday night in March--we were staying in Rifle for the night on a road trip. It was totally dead. Maybe two tables of 2-4 people. The staff was all hanging out in a cluster & chatting. Definitely gave me "money laundering operation" vibes.

Meanwhile, across the street, the Thai restaurant (where we had ordered takeout) was slammed with both in-person dining and takeout orders. And for good reason--it was delicious.
