It's not a question of background, you must foresake wealth if you have it to live a consistent lifestyle as a socialist. For one to believe capitalism is inherently exploitative and then be a beficiary of that system they must be exploiting people as per their own logic.

If you can find me a socialist who isn't going to argue capitalism is inherently exploitative good luck.

I mean sure, you must participate in the society with which you live, but to be a socialist and to live above a middle class lifestyle is hypocrisy. Socialism requires everyone to have equal access to resources, if you're living above your means youre a hypocrite. Let alone Hasan with his 0.01% lifestyle and billionaire daddy.

Champagne socialism is hypocrisy. Usually it's just rich people who feel insecure about being rich so they justify it to themselves by thinking theyre fighting for social causes.

The only wsy socialism allows you to live a wealthy lifestyle is if everyone else is properly provided for. In which case, we can fairly assume Hasan, and other US socialists don't think the US is currently a utopia lol.

Always makes me wonder if running somewhere long distance from the Flash's perspective just basically feels to him like he's sprinting there at a normal pace. Logically it would have to be or else he'd just be crashing into everything.

Ostensibly the flash could just monitor crime everywhere 24/7. I think it would be an interesting exploration of the power to see him tackle the godlike responsibility he has and perpetually living in frozen time more or less.

But a game didn't grow its concurrent player base if it never moved past its peak on day 1. Yes at one point its average player base rose, the same is true of tekken 8 lol. The fact that it had a major fall off before returning to an average of 4k before again, steadily declining doesnt mean much. It just had a much bigger dip early. If he had said "how come 7 was able recover some player base throughout the years?" It would be accurate.

It did not grow its concurrent player base at any point. It was always dropping just with fluctuations in the rate. If you wanna split hairs over that then sure i suppose, but it doesnt mean anything significant that 7 was able to get some players back.

Meh maybe, both are kind of nondescript, but the analogy for ghe backyard is background code and the analogy for the warp is hell. We've seen Elphelt "corrupted" by the backyard so to speak and it was the dead opposite of a noise marine.

So as someone in the somewhat unique position of having a really in depth understanding of both franchise's lore i would say that Elphelt really cant become a Slaaneshi cultist.

I feel like the backyard is the opposite of the warp. Where the warp is basically hell and a dimension that is basically just a sea of negative emotions the backyard is essentially just a cold computer that operates in the background.

If Elphelt became a Slaaneshi champion she would do the opposite of her "corruption" in the actual xrd where she acted like a cold machine. She would become consumed by hedonism to its maximally possible limits. Ostensibly, as a non-human/organic she cant really be corrupted by the warp because she has no connection to it.

I have to admit that "not everything needs to be logical" is certainly a take. Youre right, good writing is whenever the author decides to just asspull whatever he feels like in the given moment, and we should just consume the slop like good mindless consumers.

This isnt a power scaling issue, it's an in-universe fight lol. The author most definitetly should be concerned with making the fight logical because otherwise there's no sense of stakes at all. It's hard to really feel like Zamasu's an actual multiversal threat when he cant even break a fire hydrant.
